For my late wife Janet. I was cooking on a yacht in Canada in '75 and played this song everyday I could on jukeboxes. I miss you babe.

One of my favorite songs when I first moved out to California - a guy actually wrote a poem about me when we listened to this song. Wish I could find him now, but that was so long ago. Don't remember his name, but I thank him for the poem.

I finally figured out what my problem with contemporary rock 'n' roll is. I'm a lousy singer, so naturally I like to drive around singing along at the top of my lungs with the radio. And it seems like it's been years since I heard anything new that I wanted to sing along with. Whatever happened to the "Sister Golden Hair"s and "Baker Streets"s and pretty much anything from Journey or the Eagles? We need more interesting lyrics and tunes that aren't either hostile or depressed.

@CrimsonChampions If you have extremely high standards - As in, Music has to land in your lap and appeal immediately and sound like what you already like AND have the same magic America have even though the new song hasn't had time to grow on you - Then yes, Good new music "Doesn't exist". Its all fine to love the music you've loved for many years but please, Don't diss all new music based on just a tiny bit of it.
