A once-in-a-generation storyteller this guy. The way Joey Diaz brings you right into his memories with these tiny details and novel observations, and then suddenly he hits you with a point that ties it all together into some grander story. That is super rare and impressive.

@@dawson1373 it's the fact that he tries to portray himself as some kind of gangster mob guy, which is hilarious because they don't let Puerto Ricans in the mob. So he wants everyone to believe that part. But he has admitted to terrible things that if true should put him behind bars but he'll just say those were all jokes. He's a crybaby. They all are. As soon as they get pressed they break down and all of a sudden they're not so keen on free speech. Just watch Joey the Predator Diaz lose his mind when Redbar put him in his place. I can relate to a lot of this. As a Latino from a small rural, blue-collar town in southern Wyoming that has a lot of crime, the state prison etc... I took a trip to Romania alone. Knew nobody, didn't speak Romanian. I just saw pictures of the castles and decided, fuck it, I'll go check it out. 15 days roaming that eastern European country on my own, might as well have been on Mars. The only people I knew that traveled from where I'm from were in the military and shit like that, or going to some Mexican resort. Life changing trip, eye opening. When you come from nothing, shit like this is so much better. IMO

Skiing is my favorite thing to do on this planet. I already have my ikon pass ready, got some new sticks already. Joey is right about getting first tracks after it dumps. Nothing like it.

That skiing is underrated… I didn’t do it til mid 30’s and hit snowshoe WV and even as a first timer there it was phenomenal. I wanna go out west and do it for a week. So peaceful, good exercise and exhilarating! That’s what’s up
