Whoops I mixed up the "World's Best hoodie" (American Giant) and the "10 Year Hoodie" (Flint and Tinder) Guess I have another hoodie to pickup!

But it still looks like it will last at least 10 years.

I love clothing that is thick, sturdy, soft, and drapes well off any body. Exactly what is missing from today’s clothing! Thank you for brining this brand to my attention!

I wasn't sure about the AG Hoodie since the marketing was making some pretty crazy claims, so I went to their actual office to check them out (they set up a little space to show off their wares). The quality of the fabric and the construction was noticeable immediately and I bought it on the spot. Had it for a half year now and the fit and durability have been seriously impressive.

At first I though, "$90-$100 for a hoodie?!", but after I saw it I was impressed. Great fit for a hoodie. I can go for a hoodie and sweatshirt that not only will last a long time, but won't add 40lbs to you.

Thanks for a great review video. Can't wait for my order to come in.

I bought their hoodie and ended up returning it. It feels way overpriced and you can definitely find better at this price point!

Alot of AG is over hype marketing. There's plenty of american brands that are made in America. They just dont go around advertising that what they are the only company to do this

My hoodie broke down in 2 years at the cuff. Nothing else worn or stretched out, but the cuff started coming apart too quick.

would you do a review of their premium t shirts? something i'm interested in. I hate the cheap lightweight t shirts everyone sells for $35 now

Bought my GF an American Giant moto jacket last year. It's definitely sturdy and I have no doubt it would last years and years with proper care. Inexpensive hoodies from Old Navy and Target lasted me 3-5 years. I'm not sure if this hoodie for 3x the price would last 3x as long but I'd definitely enjoy and cheerish it more.
@The_Kavalier6 жыл бұрын
I would bet it will be 3-5x longer easily.
@Mister_Phafanapolis6 жыл бұрын
Even if it *only* lasted twice as long you're paying $10 a year for ten years of use out of a high quality hoodie. I wanted to point out that there isn't a linear relationship between quality/longevity and price. Still "worth it" if you are willing to lay out the initial cash. If I wore more hoodies I'd own one of these.

So you are you are tall and skinny like my younger brother. He's 6'2" and maybe 182 Lbs. The Classic I bought for him in Kelly Green looks really nice against his red hair and beard, and is slim fit. This works well on his slender, long torso. I am 5'10" and weigh a few pounds less then him (+/- 178 Lbs), but have broad shoulders... So for me, the French Terry Full-zip was a better option, because it had a looser cut. The only thing I don't like about AG is that the weight of the sweatshirt also detemines the fit/cut. I'd like to have a looser fitting heavyweight, but they don't make it.

With all these hauls and custom items, I'm curious how massive your closet is. Do you use an extra bedroom as a closet? I think a tour is needed.
@The_Kavalier6 жыл бұрын
Well I am building an entire studio/closet in my backyard just for this if that tells you anything. There is a portion of clothing that ends up going back but yes it's quite massive. Video coming on everything.

Bonobos or Oliver's

Except I've found the quality of Bonobos to be terrible. Waffle knits that pill. Horrible light, cheap fabrics on their paper-thin polos. Some had holes after one washing. I took pics and they gave me a refund. Ugh, not impressed so far with Bonobos, aside from the customer service which is great.

American Giant as changed alot for the worse. They're way over priced. They got rid of the classic colors. Got rid of the variety of colors and pull over hoodies and zip-ups. The classic crew neck heavy sweatshirt with the reinforced elbow material is gone. American Giant has fall into the mainstream of manufacturers. They are no longer special anymore.
