The other day, I found this Lec- demo in my collection, that I did for the middle school kids of Friendswood Junior high in Texas. As I watched this again years later, I remembered, how enthusiastic the students were during the session. Among the so many demonstrations that I did for the kids, at various schools over the years, this is one of my favorites because of their enthusiasm. The kids are choir music students who have never heard Indian classical music before but they followed me closely when I asked them to sing and play the tala. You can see them all here.
