The two most underrated and most cost effective pieces of gear from surplus right now is the flc and the taps. You can't go wrong with either one.

Issued these in recruit training in the marines but I’ve been using them since before then. Hell Soocth’s video is already 14 years old

The FLC has been, by far, the best rig I have ever worn. That’s my go to chest rig and will never look at another rig again.

I've been running a FLC for years, they're great.

No doubt

You can also just clip the buckle for that in between open and zipped. You can also flip the belt and run it as a chest rig.

Good evening Sir! Great video, great kit! Not going to lie, you are right, that brown dye job had room for improvement! Lol. Seriously, great stuff as always. I’ve never ran one of those, so I will be on the lookout! Thanks and take care!!

I hate it, it was awful. There is no way around it.

I bought a few a little while ago to give away as presents now (not in some future event). Each gift set is a FLC, 2x triple mag shingles, 2x double mag pouches, one grenade pouch and canteen/gp pouch. Since I was buying in multiples each set was a little under $25. (I'm not expecting them to use all the pouches, I was just able to get them cheap enough that I figured I'd give each recipient a variety and let them figure out what they want to use.)

My nephew- in- law is almost out of active duty non deployment (his in his can be reactivated stage, almost done) and he said he was given a FLC for his loadout. I woulda thought he would have been given a taps. My son has a FLC. I'm considering building one myself.

Way TOO much gear. Just because you can doesn't mean you should.
@nomadmarauder-dw9reКүн бұрын
Half of the stuff on gear will, and should, end up in pockets. The idea is have everything in one place ready to go. Adjust later. My best rig for AR is LBV 88 with a belt and butt pack.
