Gear heads please help. I put a blueprint engines 383 stroker crate engine in my 84 chevy k10. Currently has a 700r4 transmission behind it. Would swapping that 700r4 for this transmission have issues with my new engine?

It should fit your engine, but you will have to add all the necessary parts for a manual transmission. I.e. clutch, flywheel, pressure plate, etc.

How about inventing a manual transmission that behaves like a automatic at launch in first gear then reverts to manual clutch based transmission afterwards. For drag,road,timed autocross racing. Much more involving than paddles. The best of both worlds.
