I've never seen this live version, but if you would like to have a way better feel for this song, you need to see the Download version from '09. It 's way clearer and it's with the original drummer(it has a hidden gem in there that I don't want to give away)!

Slipknot started wearing the masks because of a member in the band called Clown that would always bring a mask to practice so the entire band decided that they would all start wearing masks. Wacken is the best festival I've ever been to in my life. Nashville to Germany is a long trip but was absolutely worth it. Germany is a beautiful country as well. The reason the hair is like that is because it's wet. I did the same thing when i was a wrestler. It helps to keep you from overheating.

I've seen Slipknot 8 times this is usually the right in the middle if their set and everytime I've seen them it's towards the end of their tour and they've always brought it. I remeber seeing them when Joey Jordinson had his ankles fucked up and when Sid Wilson broke his heels and was in a wheelchair. They put on an amazing show

Slipknot came up in the nu metal era (Korn, Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park) and there are definite hip hop influences in their songs. As a rap fan as well, it is hard not to like these guys or respect them. They easily put on one of the best live shows I have ever witnessed. Pure energy and these guys in this video are now in their 40's/50's... still up there headbanging.

I went to Knotfest in Council Bluffs in 2012 and its still the best show I've ever been too. I was about 50 feet away from the stage for the entire show, and Spit it Out was absolutely wild. They also had the crowd sing the intro to Duality in memory of Paul Grey, which was amazing. I've never been a part of crowd that knew the lyrics and gave it their all like that before

Holy hell 😳 I'm a massive Corey Taylor & Slipknot fan and it's been a dream of mine to see them in concert. What i think is awesome is the original lyrics are "Where you gonna be in the next five years"? And Corey changed it to 23 years when he sang that bcuz that's how old the song is.

You guys were kind of right in your guessings at the end of the video. Wacken, like other Festivals during the summer, takes place over a weekend. There may be some hotels or stuff like that, but most of the people in the crowd are campers. The camping places of those festivals are crazy as well, with funny people and partie around almost every corner or tent. It's maybe kind of like spring-break.......but instead of sun, beach and ocean there is mostly grass, mud and rain.......but once you get kindof used to the conditions you start to love it :D

And yea, they’re fuggin wild on stage, always moving and jumping around and running and literally kicking each other’s asses on stage, though there is a lot less of that lately considering their ages.

Yes, the German W is phonetically an English V. .. and Wacken, or Vokken, is a relatively small village in Germany who happens to host one of the largest annual Metal festivals in the world. I do believe it is a three day fest, generally Friday-Sunday.

You did the wrong video!!! Redo the reaction with the download 2009, to get the full effect because in this video you don't even get to see what they do with the drummer, though from what I can tell it didn't even look like they did it in this video, but the drums go up about 10 feet in the air and invert, so you get a top down view of the drumkit and then it rotates 180 degrees while you have the top down view it's wild. If you guys ever see an opportunity to see slipknot live do NOT miss the opportunity, I have seen them somewhere around 8 times now, and my god it is always up at the top of my must see shows live. Last time I saw them was Knotfest in Iowa, 2022, and my favorite part was when Mick Thompson comes out with a flame thrower attached to his guitar and he's shredding as flames are flying...amazing.

Yes Wacken is pronounced Vacken.... In german "W" is pronounced as american "V" and "V" is pronounced as american "F"... A VW car is a VolksWagon - or FolksVagon aka Wagon of Folks/the people.... and is pronounced "FV" and not "V-double V" as americans say it... P.S I am 41 and still spend my summers on metal and music festivals! -been to more then 35 week long festivals in the past two decades and have seen slipknot live 6 times so far. allways a blast... Experiences like that is what fuels me to get through the winter! :D

Hey P you know who you might want to check out is a group of young kids like 6yrs old to 14 yrs old covering a Tool song 46&2 .. Its the O'keefe Music Foundation Kids cover Tools 46&2! One really cool thing about metal shows is that the bands change their songs in little ways. play heavier or faster in some parts. Play around with the vocals a bit like Tayler is doing here. TOOL has half their set as songs, but played in a different way.

I was a music student. I got free tickets to concert and I also bought few tickets to multiple other concerts, and I gotta say, the energy from Slipknot is definitely different. Wayyy different. Can't emphasise how good they are and their stage presences are insane. You can even feel Craig energy even tho he rarely visible 😂 and yeah I sleep in my car nearby the place and then I woke up at 3am to sleep at the stair and trust me, there's at least 100 more people who already lining up 😭
