Personally I feel like it’s best to just do it in order as you see the overall progression but it’s not that important

Its fine to jump around until series 3, id do those in order as he isn't alone in them (hope that's not a spoiler, don't think it is), and also don't do the 'Karl Comes Home' episodes until you complete each of the series, they're a hilarious recap on each series (hopefully also not a spoiler :O )
