If I was being picky, the formation of some of the sentences were a bit 'high-school textbook' like and a couple minor grammar errors which don't affect understanding. But for 30 days that level of speaking is extremely impressive. You could easily pass as someone who'd lived in germany for a year or two and had been learning while living here. For 30 days worth of work that's double backflip levels of impressed

As a German I found this video entertaining as heck Also it is pronounced " 'zy:s " I can only imagine how hard words containing " ä, ö, ü, ß " must be for a foreigner but your wording was on point These 'Umlaute' (the letters with dots above them) must be learned but the ß, which is also known as 'scharfes s' or 'sharp s' can be read as 'sz' It's basically a sharp variant of the regular s and is used mostly in words consisting of at least two s's. In Germany we had a grammatical reform in which some old words containing 'ß' were changed to 'ss'. For example the word 'dass' used to be written as 'daß', same goes for 'muß' (which got changed fo muss) and some other cases. Hope this helps you understand difficult words like 'süß' I voluntarily learnt German with a Ukrainian child and I can totally relate to the statement of German being a horrible language to learn. But I'm hyped to see you get fluent in German, good work on your language progress so far! I hope I'll also be able to speak Russian, Japanese and French in the next few years since I plan to visit these countries sometime

Can you imagine if one of those youtube polyglots tried the "let's surprise native speakers with me speaking german!" and it was just a compilation of their cold blank stares as these teutonics try and wrap their minds around why someone isn't speaking to them in the prestige dialect of all Europa - English.

In one of his live streams where he learns German he brought up this disadvantage to learning German. An American speaking German to German natives speakers would not elicit a shock. It would make for a good parody of the "shock natives" video genre if he tried anyway.

I think your french accent comes down to your intonation. The intonation in french is pretty much always at the end of a word "grammatIK"... In german it's mostly somewhere in the middle or in the beginning: "gramMAtik". So you can start fixing your accent there. Else your german is really good. Omg this guy makes me feel so dumb! I've been learning German for the past year and a half, and probably speak half as good :(

It's okay to say a lot of Turkish or balkan words in German if you are a foreigner. This makes learning it a lot easier. You can use Abi instead of friend/brother/person/human/being, you can call every breathing thing your abi. Halas/Hayde means hurry up or let's get going. Goofy and other American slang words are often used by the German youth. Therfore you can say something like rizz and gyatt as well as the previously mentioned goofy. I liked your use of digga. It seemed really proficient in the German language to me as a fellow German myself. But remember, use känäk too, it will make you a lot of foreign friends when visiting Germany, just say you are one, you dont need the explanation.
