@Jensen "I couldn't know that" isn't grammatiy correct. Couldn't means you didn't have the ability to know, and English, is very innocosetent, (a languge with inconsistent grammar rules.) "Didn't" means before hand you had no idea. Couldn't doesn't make sense, it's not like someone was forcing you to not know. And even if they were you would explain or say "I didn't know that becuase...."
