Trying the local food is always the best part of traveling to a different country. Join me in Split, Croatia as I try out all the local Croatian snacks and candy. Some are familiar and others are unique. Get a taste of what Croatian snacks and candy are like.
1. Tortica - Small size Croatian chocolate covered wafers.
2. Jaffa Keks - Croatian vanilla biscuits which are soft, with a jelly on top and covered on top with chocolate.
3. Bobi - Croatian peanut butter puffed snack.
4. Confettino - Croatian chocolates covered in a colorful candy shell.
5. Kandit Žele Kocke - Croatian jelly marmalade snack.
6. Saltas Slani Štapići - Croatian pretzel sticks.
7. Moto Kakao - Croatian vanilla and chocolate cookie sandwiches.
8. Napolitanke - Croatian wafer snack that is mostly wafer with light creme in-between each wafer.
9. Kiki Punioza - Croatian taffy candy.
10. Domaćica - Crunchy Croatian cookies that have the bottom part covered in chocolate.

From the moment he took Jaffa cakes in his hands and said that he tried Milka ones I knew he wasn't gonna like these hahaha Milka ones are softer. But my whole childhood i was eating Jaffa and when Milka ones started selling in Croatia, couple of years ago, I didn't like that they were so soft. Meni je interesantno da mi danas imamo mnogo verzija istih proizvoda u svakoj od države bivše Jugoslavije i da se radi o istim okusima. Nije da nismo prihvatili strane slatkiše i grickalice ali u 90% kupujemo naše. Meni je recimo čokolada u SAD u devedesetima bila odvratna jer su oni pod čokoladom podrazumijevali nešto što je imalo manje kakaoa nego što je to bilo u SFRJ. Sanjao sam Kraševe čokolade. Braco i Seka su za njihove čokolade bile bile ekstra klasa.

you definitely have to try our chocolates, I personally like the best Dorina with all the flavors that you can't go wrong, there are also two other brands of chocolates that you can't go wrong with, apart from Kraš Kandit and Zvečevo, these three chocolate factories are the best and highest quality in our country. and of course you have to try any ice cream from the company Ledo..then Bronhi candies, chocolates Animal Kingdom, candies 505 with a line, and our most luxurious chocolate Bajadera there is also an instant drink called Cedevita, here from this list would be given another episode recorded ... this one I watched is really great so here is the material for recording a greeting from Croatia.

Pipi used to contain less sugar a long time ago, idk what they did to the formula but it's definitely so sugary and fake, not saying that everything in that thing was 100% natural before but as a Croatian I can agree that the drink isn't as good and healthy. Also the next time you're here, you should try out Dorina chocolate, Choco napolitanke (they are full chocolatey), Lizli (they are medium-sized chocolate "loly pops"), Bobi rings (pizza flavour), Kviki (kviki gric, salty snack), Čipi čips (Franck) and 505 candy.

Moto in small packages was something that I had to have during school days. Funny fact that even after 30 years of brake down of Yugoslavia we still buy and use same snacks. We have Oreo but even our kids prefer Moto or Kent cookies.
