There is one trip that I still remember that gave my dad and myself a surprise. It happen several years ago when we decided to go to Colorado for a summer trip. We took USA highway 50 across Nevada and saw something amazing. Nevada is a desert and there was a ridge. We were expecting more desert but as soon as we started down a vibrant Green valley was in front of us. It last for about 100 miles before another ridge right back into the desert.

I just found your channel a few days ago from your lspdfr videos but I've got to say I'm enjoying the truck sim videos a lot. These games really are very relaxing after a long day of work and since i don't have a computer yet capable of playing I'll watch you. To all the people who are confused about the DLC: States will be free, trucks will be free, etc. As far as I know from what I have seen from SCSSoftware, they are just adding as they go (since they are going for more accuracy). Quality over Quantity.

Jeff, when your rounding curves with a trailor you have to stay on the outer side of the turn with the truck other wise the trailor drifts into the other lane or off the road... That's the one thing ive noticed, one of these times you gona round a corner with another semi coming and hes gona take out your trailor..

I commented on another ATS player's channel (Squirrel) that I wanted to see "Welcome to Nevada" signs along the state borders, because when you cross from California to Nevada, the speed limit jumps up about 15 mph. So now I'm satisfied that I've seen one.

Jeff, I agree with you yo drive need the right not the left. When I turn the truck into another road I use as much as the left side of the road as possible so its easy to turn.

The rule we have in Australia, is that you should keep as far to the left (Or right in the U.S) as practical. Which makes a fair bit of sense

Oh, and another reason that you would want to drive closer to the right of the road in a truck like that, is because the trucks are very wide (especially since its a dully) so in order to keep from hitting anyone it is best to stay to the right as much as you can. that is what truck drivers and EVD's (Emergency Vehicle Driver) are taught to do.

You can scale the in dash GPS now the same as the info box. Very handy for seeing distance and such.

I believe that the damage occurred during the first part of the trip. I think when that yellow bobtail was passing you on the right while in that left hand turn you drug the trailer wheels along the guard rail....

the weights are still off quite abit, 40k isn't really that heavy and they dont seem to go up much more than that. we are hauling inbetween 60k-87k lb net and thats just hauling wood chips in bc canada

this would be a fun road to take some sports cars down. closed course, no limit, and just go with the flow of the road at a good cruising speed for your ride. Also, are you using trailer breaks to help slow you down? might help with those red light tickets.

Watch out for railway crossings. I recently encountered one when I was doing about 60 mps on the highway for a quick job. (speed limit was 70 mph) Then when I went about 20 m near it, the ams start to go down. I thought I could not stop in front of the crossing if I brake, so I attempted to charge through, hoping to break those barriers. These barriers are PRETTY TOUGH! I smashed into them and watched a one-cabin-long train flew past me. There was 43% damage on the truck and 1% damage on the trailer.
