Thank you for taking the time to make this video, as I'm sure thousands around the world would love to too. I live about 20mins drive from the beacons cross roads junction, have it pinned in my maps as do a lot of hiking and camping that way. A good friend of mine from Croyden is shit scared of the film, loves camping on the beacons but always has a 'moment' if it gets foggy on the hills at night. Plan to take him there next time he's down and get dropped off there so we have no option but to pitch up near by. I'm a good friend like that you see. 😂😂 Once again thanks. Dean Cooling. P.s. The walking down to the farm scene was filmed about 150 yards to the left, and the scene where they're talking about a girl David is in love with is back up the road you drove down to the cross roads.

Thanks for the video! You did get a few things wrong on the inside the Black Swan. They are playing darts on the right side of the door as you walk in (shown at 5:35) by the big bay window (which is new as you mentioned). And also, the wall you thought the candles and the star was on, is not the correct wall. It's actually much closer to the bar and has been nearly completely removed. In the film, there is only one window, so the original wall is between the two windows shown to the left of the door as you walk in. You can actually see a part of the old wall on the ceiling at 6:20 just in front of the smoke detector. There's 2 archways to the left of the bar, one with a rounded top (nearer the wall) and one with a squared off top (nearer the bar). Only the squared off arch was showing in the movie, and they were playing chess at a table in front of it.

The wall at the end of Clink Street was a build. They needed a fake wall to hide the back of the 'wheel barrow' device attached to the wolf. Les Dilley, John Landis and Rick Baker have confirmed. It was Rick puppeteering the wolf in that final moment. -- PD

(At about 05:36, you are stood where they are playing darts. I remember because it was a young (ish) actor who played Senator Falco in Gladiator.) If I'm wrong then I apologise. Loved the Gary Holton video, by the way. Great work, keep it up.

The entrance to the porno theatre was not the main entrance to gap it was the 2nd arch down to the right and the dead end was where you was standing and they knocked the wall down..great video 👍 always wanted to go to the Wales locations crickadarn and hay wains bluff but can't be bothered to drive there lol

Great film lads 👍🏻, but the dart board was on the right hand side as you walked through the door! Good for you for showing us these places today, really interesting, it's a cracking film well done 👍🏻🍻

I always thought the inside of The Slaughtered Lamb was filmed in a studio, how wrong was i.

Great job, guys. But I think you got the dartboard bit wrong. They were playing darts the other end by the fireplace. Cheers though, really enjoyed the video.

Don't suppose you thought of covering where the first attack scene on the moors was?? I know it's in Windsor Great Park but I've never seen the exact location of where it was, always interested me.
@johnmcewan44949 жыл бұрын
The attack was in a studio. But when walking it was in the grounds my friend.
@MrPound4Pound19 жыл бұрын
Oh okay, very interesting! After watching the Beware the Moon documentary it appeared to me that the whole scene was filmed in Windsor Great Park, no mention of a studio. Where did you hear this?
@johnmcewan44949 жыл бұрын
John Landis says it himself in a documentary and gives all away. The werewolf change was a replica of the house and the attack on the moors. The house was used at Earl's Court interior and exterior but the change was a studio interior as was the moors on the attack. Watch film again and when Jack gets killed your see the grass is almost lighter as like its a form of AstroTurf. Many thanks

Yes I'm aware the transformation was shot in Twickenham Studios, I just wasn't aware of the moors being a replica set as it looked quite authentic to me. Thanks for the info, can this documentary be found on here?

I believe so. My favourite part of this location video was walking down the hill seeing the pub. It was like being part off it. Seeing the village as they did

Hi nelson. It's john the cameraman. We had great fun filming and my favourite part was walking down the hill seeing the village as they did in the film. It really felt as if we was in the film at that stage. Jeremy Wright aka alan partridge spot on lol. Look out for our clockwork Orange location end of March.

John collard Hello John the cameraman! Someone does live in the Slaughtered Lamb location. Infact the people who live in the village, know of the movie being made there, but have never watched it...can u believe that. Ive been lucky enough to speak to a couple of the villagers who were living there when the movie was being made. The actor who the Dr was talking to in the graveyard is David Schofield and the line that Brian Glover says when he sees them talking is "THATS ENOUGH, thats enough" Yep im a geek, but I hope that bit of info helps.

AAWIL is one of my favourite films and my partner actually took me to the locations on one of our first dates! :) Jez, if Alan Partridge was to do an AAWIL location vid, this would be it.....I bet Steve Coogan is pissed he didnt think of it first. You are funny as f**k! :D

Jeremy,I stayed in a hostel on Earl's Ct.a couple of years after that movie. All those Georgian home fronts look the same to me now,but I cannot believe that hostels or even B&B's would be in abundance there today. Am I correct ? Thank you.
