Excellent reviews. There are not many LS reviews out there but your reviews are very well done. Thank you!

I've owned a 4047 for 5 years.I could not be happier. Smooth, powerful,very fuel efficient even at sustained high rpm.my dealer had both tier 3 and 4 ...I chose 3, phew! machine has nearly 500 hrs and only fluid changes needed for maintenance.size of front tires sold me over smaller framed tractor.this machine is also extremely agile in dense hardwoods.ive skidded 40 ft logs with ease..also run 6ft tiller no prob..... sometimes regret not getting cab up here in upstate NY winters

I don't think you will be disappointed. It is and has been a real horse for us. An underrated gem. Thanks for watching.

@@American-OutdoorsNet tractor looking at has 1500 hours.

@@DennisBohannan Good record keeping on maintenance is always a plus, as well as knowing what the previous owner was using it for. I don't put a lot into the number of hours on a tractor so much as the use. 1500 hours idling or digging out a pond, so to speak, can make a difference.

@@American-OutdoorsNet for sure. I'd also rather have something been used than sit. I just changed the clutch on a 20 year old tractor that had only 300 hours.

The DPF system shouldn't be an issue even through regen. My last Kubota, L3301, would regen about every 20-25 hrs and I would work right through it. I now have an MX5400 and expect the same.

Great review. I am looking at the LS xg 3140 and using it for tractor for hire.

You hit the nail on the head about the emissions. Idiots telling you to run a tractor and run more fuel to get rid of stuff in the DPF - crazy

Thanks for the video, I have 40 acres with lots of old Black Oak trees, need to skid some that are 40in, is this tractor capable ? Also can you put a grapple on this? Thanks, Brian

I was pulling large dead fall oaks out of a creek bottom 10' down a few weeks ago with no problem at all. Yes, the 4047 has a factory set of remotes on the rear to enable hookups for a grapple. We use a 66" currently and it works great.

More than capable Brian. I do what you mention with a 37 hp XR3037. You will need to install 3rd function hydraulics to run a grapple however. I installed one... took about 5 hours.

Specifically what type of grapple did you get?? Thanks

Nice tractor, looking for a similar LS. Where did you find the 2014 and what kind of condition was it in when you got it? Love the channel by the way, probably have at least 20 old cast iron pieces waiting to go in my electrolisis bin.

Actually found me a 2014 with 190 hours, love it. Video was the deciding factor, Thanx.

Does it have oil leak problems like the LG3025 does?
@American-OutdoorsNet6 жыл бұрын
Not a drop. The 3025 I owned had no oil leaks.

I have a 2015 XG3037 and not a drop you should contact your dealer because there was a problem with the 25hp engine blocks and they are prone to cracking and they will put some kind of bracket on the engine to add strength. good luck.

Have you had any issues since you made the video?
@American-OutdoorsNet6 жыл бұрын
None. Added a grapple for brush and logging about a month ago and use forks probably more than the loader. Neighbor down the road just bought a Kubota L4701 and paid almost 10k more than I did. Ouch!
