In the early 2000s I would always buy one speedy biscuit everyday from school to share with my dog speedy( named after the buscuit) And spicy biscuit is also my favourite biscuit.

I think Nigerians will find the American palate too sweet. Even the Coke bottled in Nigeria are not as sweet as those in America. Our cereals also have waaaay less sugar than those in the USA, so I can understand why you will find it mild. Glad you liked the strawberry candy though😊(we call them sweets not candies🙃😁)

100% agree! I’m Nigerian but have lived in America longer than in Nigeria and I still prefer the mild sweetness of our Nigerian snacks! American snacks are either too sweet, salty or sour eww. I spend way too much money buying snacks from the African store haha .

One thing you should try is TOM TOM and cold water …. The cream cracker has different types ( there’re ones with higher creaminess and dry ones for people who are trying to take in lesser oil food ) Digestive one of my most loved Just found you guys channel ❤️❤️❤️🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬

First of all, these are not typical traditional Nigerian snacks. Our local snacks have little or no sugar, artificial additives. Our "real" snacks are; plantain chips, puff puff, palm kernel nuts, coconuts, wild bush berries, roasted groundnuts, roasted maize and other natural organic snacks.

It almost reminds me of this snack I had growing up - texturally it reminds me of chicken biscuits! Flavor wise it’s similar too but more fish than chicken, but I think flavor profile similar saltiness!

Hi. I'm Ghanaian and we also have Tom Tom Toffees here. I don't know how liquorice tastes like so I don't know what you are talking about. All I taste is mint in it. But if you should try any Ghanaian snacks, please go for Robb Toffees and Ahonka Ginger since you don't like the Tom Tom ones when it comes to Toffees that clear your sinuses.

@@TwinsTryOk, so go for Nkatie burger (In/kah/ti [as in kick]/yeah boh [as in box]/gah, Malta [Mall/tah] guinness, perk biscuits, malt n milk biscuits, Tampico, chocomalt (which I don't like but you might), garimix (which I don't like either but you might), plantain chips, nkate (In/kah/ti) cake, baked doughnuts (they're much smaller than your usual doughnuts), chin chin chips and baked and fried chips (not fries). Enjoy 😊

😢I can't believe you eating our inflation products. These cheeseballs were ₦5 back in 2005 and also, you get a full pack with morr cheese and very bright orange. They are now ₦50-₦100 with 50% of qualiy and quantity removed. Same goes for every other snack. I can't even find malta sweets anymore. I think they folded up. The snacks were better in the year 1999.

@@TwinsTry hi , I’d recommend the Smoov Chapman , Swcheppes Zobo , Schweppes Chapman ( Chapman is a recurrent drink theme) , Vita Milk , Bullet ( if you are into energy drinks) , Maltina/Amstel Malt/Malta Guinness ( Vita Malt tends to be the most accessible type of Nigerian Malt in the US but you’d see any of the others . You can get Vita if you don’t see any of the others), Palmwine ( gotten from a palm tree & very vital in traditional ceremonies and marriages) , Kunu ( if you can see it ) , Tigernut drink ( if you can see it ), Hollandia Juice ( the strawberry flavour not the one you drank ) , Five Alive Berry Blast , Five Alive Pulpy ( Orange , lemon or mango flavours.), Lucozade Boost etc . You’d work with this & I hope it’s helpful.
