.45 GAP is 45 Glock Auto Pistol 45acp is seldom filled completely with powder, shake one and you'll notice the empty space in the casing. 45 GAP shortened the brass with almost no loss of powder capacity. 45 Super went the other direction...they simply filled the casing with more powder ( along with strengthening the casing to cope with the higher pressure)

Using my own handloaded 45 Super ammo (with XTP HP bullets, Starline brass cases, Hodgdon Longshot Powder, and CCI 300 primers), I basically have a high-capacity auto-mag pistol that can shoots 15 rounds of 230 grain 45 caliber bullets with an average muzzle velocity of 1,240 fps.

I was an Army Medic, 1965-71...Shot Expert with the 1911ACP and the M-14. Both very good and dependable if ya keep the gas cylinder clean...Now my personal handgun is the 1946 S&W, M&P, square butt in 38S x 6"....wheel gun bought for me on my 1st birthday and never jammed & never will. I can get 6 rounds downrange in a hurry and reloading is not that difficult....An automatic will jam and leave ya with nothing....

How autistic are you? 1911acp is not the name or model and it doesn't have a gas "cylinder" and wheel guns/revolvers are cool until you get them dirty then the cylinder doesn't rotate or the hammer will jam up and 6 round with a slow reload c'mon now.
