As an ex AMG service manager any AMG model is going to cost an absolute fortune to run. No after market parts available, you need seriously deep pockets to afford to run one. And many of the models are troublesome, the abuse i took from customers complaining is part of the reason i left, I'd advise anyone to stay.clear of AMG models.

You can absolutely plastic weld that bumper. I’m an ex merc main dealer body repairer/painter. You could have saved £900 going to another body man.

I bought a brand new AMG last year. It broke down after 600 miles. They had it in for over a month until they said we’ve tried everything and can’t fix it. They had to strip down the engine and had to wait for a tool from Germany to do this. I rejected the car and got a full refund. Never again.

You have exactly one car on that list that will give the new owner years of trouble free driving. The LC500 is as close to a perfect car as possible. I've had my 2018 for almost six years and it's been like no other car I've ever owned. EVERYTHING WORKS. Unlike all the other cars on your list, the LC will be running perfectly for years to come and all you have to do is the suggested manufacturers routine maintenance. If people actually knew just how great these cars are, it would shock them.

Love this SLK themed video. They are definitely not a cheap modern classic to own (I’ve had my 05 SLK 55 for 6 years). The replacement of the front discs and pads was quite a surprise. It is however an absolute blast to drive and not a car that you often see as there are only about 700 55’s in the UK. Good luck with selling yours, there are some Facebook groups for these cars which occasionally have people looking to buy and sell SLK55 models.

I bought exactly the same model 4 months ago. I’ve spent nearly three grand on brakes …AMG £900 , gearbox service £500 , front suspension top mounts service etc. It’s done 62k . Obsidian blade with burgundy leather. Total money pit. Now using as a garage queen 😂 good luck with yours

Well fortunately for the next owner we have literally done the lot. It is a very well sorted car now. Part of me wanted to keep it because I genuinely think these things haven’t had their run in value yet so as expensive as yours might have been, as a betting man I reckon it will come back to you eventually 😎😊

As an owner of a 2013 SLK55 for five years until last year maybe the reason this car is welded to your forecourt is that it’s overpriced? You can buy an R172 SLK 55AMG for pretty much the same money, better car and ten years newer.

I might be just me but I’d prefer it if you showed us your stock by walking round and pointing rather than show photos off your website. Joe and the other dealers do it that way and it feels like you’re walking round with a mate, less informal and doesn’t feel like a sales pitch. Great video though. Gorgeous stock and you’re a likeable lad. Keep it up

21 year old Rob would take the GTR in a heartbeat. Slightly older and more for creature comforts Rob, would take the Supra.

I own a new GLB 200 petrol , never had issues and have owned a few others Merc’s BUT I also owned a Land Rover Discovery Sport, that’s a different story! 8K spent! Should have driven it over a cliff!
