Who will be crown with the king of speed, AMG GT R, AMG C63 or AMG A45?
A highlight of the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Melbourne every year is the speed comparison so we thought we'd host one of our very own! With the amazing Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit all to ourselves we line up a trio of AMGs piloted by professional racing drivers to see whether the flagship GT R can run down a C63 and A45 when they're given a sizeable head start. I’m impressed with all the AMGS here I didn’t think the C63 would hang out with the A45 on track (happy C63 owner here!) and I didn’t think the GTR would catch the the A45 with that head start. The A45 definitely the best hot hatch out there

Having done all of the AMG Driver Academy schools, the A45 is a standout. Even on PI’s high speed layout, the hatch gives up little to the C63s.

Same, my man's, I have the 2020 CLA 35 AMG and want to know how hard you can push 225Kw. It's amazing how technology has advanced so much that a 4 banger is pretty good

They should have used the C63 S coupe instead of the sedan, I think the coupe handles better and is the more track focused model

Great question @chris. Most new ABS/AEB systems use this new feature (even on utes!) ... but in this case, I’ll hand over to the expert drivers in our midst @andyenright & @scottnewman for their clarification.

Correct. The vast majority of vehicles will flash hazard lights under heavy braking to warn following cars as a safety feature 👍🏻
