His living room is so damn big, it takes 20/20 vision to see his. La- z- boy furniture set that he received in a gently used condition from the Salvation Army, on 32nd and Cicero Ave. One man's trash, is Scottie Pippens treasure!!
@1977TA
@1977TA 4 жыл бұрын
Pippen should have been featured on that 30 For 30 doc titled "Broke" He blew his money as financial illiterate athletes do. Bad investments, trusting the wrong people. The fact that he was quote "underpaid" for a good portion of his career has nothing to do with it. If he had been given a reworked contract for more money he would still be broke now because more money equals more problems. In all, Pippen finished his career with earnings of $109.9 million. His first big payday came when he signed a five-year, $67.2 million deal with the Houston Rockets after the Last Dance season in 1998. Later in 2003 he returned to the Bulls and signed a 10.3 million deal. Yes, the Bulls made up for that bad locked in contract he himself signed that kept him underpaid during the Bulls championship years. So, Pippen, has himself to blame for not having money to buy furniture. Actually, he isn't broke. He recovered a lot of his lost fortune through filing lawsuits and winning a good number of the cases. Today his net worth is around $50 million .

The biggest unanswered question about Jordan to me is always “why does everyone let him get away with the lie that he was cut from his high school team?” Like most kids in the ‘70s, he played JV as a sophomore. The whole JV was build around him as the coaches prepared him to be the key to the varsity his last two years. That is not “getting cut.”

@jackfoudray
@jackfoudray 2 жыл бұрын
@@hector44697 Or he wasn't even allowed to tryout for it. It's not like today in America, Kids had their roles. I guess he could've been technically cut, but not because he wasn't good enough for varsity, but because they just wanted to work on him with the JV. It's highly unlikely that he was cut from his high school varsity team because he wasn't good enough.
@ryublueblanka
@ryublueblanka 2 жыл бұрын
According to his Airness he was cut from the high school team and all the college teams passed on him except the Tar Heels and the only team interested in him in the NBA was the Chicago TerriBulls as they were known then and the Bulls cut him twice and then the crappy Wizards were the only team that wanted him but eventually they cut him too. That's what Michael Jordan says and thinks...

From a random website: "The most common cause of the whites of the eyes taking on a brownish and sometimes blotchy color in African-Americans is melanin pigment in the surface tissue of the eye, known as the sclera and conjunctiva. This is benign and there is no treatment safe enough to use for such a benign condition. This can sometimes be confused with a yellowing of the whites of the eyes which may be a sign of liver disease. If this symptom is new, progressive or concerning to you then you should see an ophthalmologist for a specific diagnosis." So basically genetics.

The last dance was real and it came from their coach. Now if they base this series on something real, why should they take another path? Why did they allow "the main man" to criticize and say whatever he wanted about other players, mocking Pippen and the great Gary Payton, but not the other way around? For me it was pretty clear that if Pippen was not in Chicago, nr.23 would not have a single ring.

So people missing the nba & being around more to find entertainment. So when this came out this was so spotlighted & all sports people talked about all the sports radio & sports tv shows plus it was like a really great substitute for basketball. A lot of young people got to really see how great mj was so this was a genius idea esp bc many people were calling lebron the goat this changed minds I think just from so many watching it. I think it's a must see for everyone sports fans or not. I was riveted watching. No body is better than mike. Just FYI, MJ’s eyes appear as such due to “Conjunctival epithelial melanosis” or we sometimes refer to it as “racial melanosis”...pigment depositions on darker skinned individuals. Looking at his pics, there appears to be a Pinguecula on the nasal portion of his left eye as well. It’s a raised yellowish lesion commonly occurring from excess UV light(understandably so since he’s always on the golf course). There are hundreds of variations of ocular lesions and not meant for anyone reading this in self diagnosing their own eye condition. Please visit your eye care provider(Optometrist/Ophthalmologist) if any questions arise.

Tbh if you watch it to the end, very few people are shown in a poor light -- they're just shown as human. Pippin is shown as super underrated, Rodman is respected for who he is, Jordan shows that his love of the game should not be confused as villainy towards his teammates (he even cries about it), Krause is specifically touted as the reason they won 6, etc etc... It sounds like all the NBA players who have issues with this doc have only watched the first 2 episodes.

I wasn't really excited about a "documentary" about MJ that is controlled completely by MJ and is finally being released because MJ needs more hoopla to feed his ego when some people pose the question "Is LJ the greatest". The truthful answer would be that neither are the greatest and neither of them ever won one damn title without several other all-star, HOF players around them.

Ya Boi Lebron doesn't support the black community, he supports himself and he made that very clear when he claimed the tweet from the Houston Rockets GM supporting human rights and freedom in Hong Kong could cause emotional and spiritual damage. He said that publicly because he was in lockstep with the NBA add their relationship with the Chinese Communist Party. Lebron defended Communism because he and the NBA wouldn't dare criticize China. Michael Jordan did more for society as a whole than Lebron has ever done simply by making Space Jam. That's how's irrelevant LeBron's so called work for the black community is. This piece of shit literally told all the black children in America that they will never be anything more than a black man in this country. The exact opposite message given by Martin Luther King Jr. Michael Jordan inspired an entire country by his discipline, work ethic, and dedication to his craft. Lebron is a sellout who is more concerned about his finances than the slavery and human rights atrocities currently taking place by a Communist authoritarian Government. The public persona aspect is one thing, but Lebron doesn't compare to Jordan on the court either..

@@TheFletchandSebShow Luc and MJ didn't get along. MJ holds grudges, and made that clear in his documentary.

@@utubebroadcaster thanks for replying. A shame really, as the starting centre he'd have described his role in disarming those bigs like Malone, Olajuwan, and Shaq. Possibly more interesting would have been the awkward truce by the sounds of it, between him and Jordan. Somehow they made it work. Sure he was a role player, but it was a role that needed playing. They managed to hide a 7 foot 2 redhead in the doco which is no easy task.

@@TheFletchandSebShow Luc was more important than Steve Kerr, but Kerr is well known in the basketball world and happens to manage the best NBA team of the last decade. Longley is unfortunately not particularly famous and wouldn't pull in as many viewers as Steve.

@@TheFletchandSebShow Also Ron Harper was a big deal during those championships. Was he even interviewed? Luckily they interviewed Timberlake for his valuable take 🤣
