When LeBron says its not about the money at that point, what he means is he'll sign for max (like always) and force a trade to play with his son. It is about the money, he just takes it for granted and whoever has to pay for it, well that's their problem. If the Lakers were smart, they'd tell LeBron if you opt out, you're gone. We will spend the #55th pick for your son if he's there and you're here. Otherwise, we won't trade superior assets to get him, and if you want to leave we will find somewhere to trade you, but it won't be where your son is playing.
