Despite Russian fire, Ukrainian medics near Bakhmut try to stabilize wounded soldiers so they can be transported to hospitals in safer areas. They manage to treat multiple injuries at once, but not every casualty can be saved. "The hardest moment is when you can't help a soldier," said one medic.

The real truth, is that 🇺🇦Ukraine🇺🇦 is full of heroes…… And, even those women who felt they had no choice, but to actually leave their beloved 🇺🇦Ukraine🇺🇦, and their beloved families/husbands, just to keep their children safe, are heroes……… These women are heroes too, because they are suffering, as they don’t have the support of being at home, while they have to learn a new language, in a strange place with strange customs, which also means that they are surrounded by strangers…….. And this is a hard thing to live with, even when they are surrounded by well meaning people, because even the well meaning, are still strangers……. This is why, I believe that all of the 🇺🇦Ukrainians🇺🇦 who are fighting the commies💩🇷🇺💩, even if they are just making sure that they are bringing up the next generations in safety, so that the real 🇺🇦Ukraine🇺🇦 and its customs will survive, and regain its independence/freedom from the criminal communist regime💩🇷🇺💩…… 🇺🇦Slava🇺🇦Ukraine🇺🇦and🇺🇦an🇺🇦eternally🇺🇦free🇺🇦Ukrainian🇺🇦people🇺🇦

Anyone who saves a life worldwide is a “real hero” doesn’t matter were they are from. This hero worship thing has made me cringe over Ukraine. I support them as well but damn they are human beings and anyone in their position would be doing the same thing to save their lives and country from foreign aggression

@@stacey_1111rh. While you may think that everyone would rush to help get rid of criminal bunch of thugs💩🇷🇺💩, you are obviously missing or forgetting, that they had to stop men from leaving Ukraine🇺🇦, and they had to pass a law/regulation to be able to conscript men into the armed forces, which means that there were some who tried to shirk their responsibilities…… And, I for one, think that anyone who risks their lives in the fight for freedom, is actually more heroic than people who just save lives, by being medic, with the exception for those who go to the frontlines, in the hope of saving lives, because they are obviously risking their lives too, because those commies💩🇷🇺💩 are happy to shoot at the medics……. And they are fighting for all of the free world, not just Ukraine🇺🇦, because that right wing commie💩🇷🇺💩 Puhtler, has promised to return the russcist commie💩🇷🇺💩 borders, to where they were, in 1946……

We should feel blessed + grateful. And never even _question_ Ukraine needing help to get rid of the invader. Important to realise, we have to do everything to help, if we don't even send our soldiers [it would have been over so quick to show Putin he crossed the line on 24.02.2022], at least producing them weapons én masse, and send our tanks. I say that as a German. Well, since yesterday I am in Ukraine to do what I can myself.

A very great thanks to the brave medics that perform this critical activity tirelessly and with compassion. And know these same Ukrainian medics have been saving many Russian lives too!!! Thank you for that Ukrainian medics you are true heros. It hurts me deeply to see Ukrainian soldiers, civilians & defenders killed and hurt because of Putin and his lies. To the Russian People: Rise up and overthrow the criminal MONSTER Putin and his regime and end this nightmare. Putin and his regime are a failure and should cease to exist.

Some of the most badly wounded soldiers with the most infected wounds are being sent on to other countries to try and save them. I recently read an interview with the doctors in a departement specially set up for Ukrainian patients in a Norwegian hospital, they confirmed that all their patients were multiresistent to antibiotics, often leaving just one drug to use. As they all have fractured bones and exploded flesh, the hardest part is cleaning the wounds, often having to open up multiple times, reattaching skin already taken from other parts of the body again and again. This all makes for very lenghty stays in the hospital. It is a stark reminder of the importance of reducing our everyday consumption of antibiotics to a minimum. Ukraine uses a lot, like in so many other countries. I wish for the best outcome of this horrible war, a swift end and victory for Ukraine. Glory to the soldiers and medics at the front and to the rest of Ukrainian civil society.❤

Not every hero carries a gun. Ukraine is full of heroes: whether helping the wounded, fire fighting, or simply cleaning up the rubbish, all display an amazing spirit of resilience and victory. Glory to Ukraine and its heroes. Не кожен герой носить зброю. Україна сповнена героїв: допомога пораненим, гасіння пожежі чи просто прибирання сміття - усі демонструють дивовижний дух стійкості та перемоги. Слава Україні та її героям.

It breaks my heart just watching this. I can’t even fathom the pain and torment the soldiers (incl. medics) go through seeing such scenes on a frequent basis. And all of this carnage because of one demented old man hiding in a bunker, hoping for glory. There is a simple solution that can’t be beyond a top AFU sniper battalion. Kremlin would surely take any excuse to tuck its tail and run back home to lick its wounds.

Artem Katulin, head of the Russian training centre for tactical medicine, reported on Russian state media yesterday that "50% of Russian deaths are not due to life-threatening injuries" but due to poor medical care on the front line and at evacuation points, and "30% of amputations are due to incorrect application of a tourniquet".

The psychological and physical stress the Ukrainian heroes endured was too much. The pressure from the Russian army has been pounding, relentless and wearing. The loss of life has been too much, everything possible has been done now it is time to withdraw and build a new front line on Ukrainian territories. We will continue to send weapons but hope for negotiations between Russia, China and the US/Europe.
