Solutions? Who has the solutions to all the problems? // After a while people just get tired of political and social commentary and shut down. Or they respond with a massive counter movement. That is why Trump got so far in 2016. Many people felt threatened by in-your-face identity politics and said NO! When someone steps up with art that shows the way forward, that may lead people to engage constructively with others. (It's not so easy.)

Yes, the art of this time will be looked back upon with interest and curiosity for what it's saying about what we're living and dieing through now. Much like we look at museum art exhibits that reflect on the events of their time. I'm so thankful for this story and the active recognition of artists creating during this time.
