That is really cool. Do you have the Elebox case which I think is designed for that daughterboard? The chugging minigl rendering seems to indicate it is CPU bound/limited.

At the moment I don't have any case. Actually CPU is unable to work powerfully bacause Zorro2 bus is too saturated.

This looks great and I realize this is a year old. But I am about to start this setup tomorrow and I was wondering if you ran into any issues? Currently my A1200 1D4 is setup in the Elbox tower with pistorm32 (also a rpi 3a) with an indivision flickerfixer. I was wondering if i need to make changes before putting the mediator on

Keep installation target CPU without MMU, it should work as is.

Hello, I have preordered the Pistorm 32 lite for my towerized ReA1200, I have the mediator (v1.0) with Voodoo 3 2000 PCI but also have the ATI Radeon 9250, sound card is Sound blaster CT4750, can I do the same like yours? What benefits does this setup have? I am asking cause I was gonna sell the mediator board. Forgot to mention that I have had the Apollo 1260 80mhz with this setup. The tower is a Micronik infinitiv. Tnks!

Later on PiStorm32Lite will have a networking and audio (AHI) over HDMI. RTG works already over HDMI. They will be much faster than cards in PCI slots. Probably if one day we will have MMU we can try Killer card for PPC, but even it would work it's not that good with Mediator 1200XT. Only case where Mediator makes sense is that if you like to use PiStorm32Lite as CPU replasement only and keep using PCI cards (which is also fun but slow).

Can someone.please explain when using a PI accelerator ( which one doesnt matter ) , how about to use the ports like HDMI, USB, ETHERNET? , is there a board like the omniport for the Pi, or do we need to beeing creative again and use rare methods?

To use HDMI you need Picasso96 drivers (emu68-vc4.card) on AmigaOS, then HDMI will act like a RTG board on the Amiga. USB and Ethernet are not supported yet with the Emu68. michalsc.github.io/Emu68/Options.html

Almost the most convoluted software/hardware emulation chain I had ever a pleasure to watch! Keep my fingers crossed for the progress of this project. Why is the Effectiveness so low? I saw the bare Emu68 on A500 shows figures closer to 50%

Zorro2 and Chipmem speed are the bottlenecks. That's why Emu68 is mostly just idlying.

Slow Zorro2 bus and chipset speed are bottlenecks. When you have a PPC in the mediator, it has a direct bus to the graphics card. Now in our case Emu68 is just resting.

@@simo.koivukoski Yes. I have a Pistorm in my A2000 with Emu68 and a Pi 3A+. I also have another A2000 with Vampire V2. The Vampire feels faster in RTG, it must have more accelerated functions. I hope that is improved in Emu68. Maybe it would help if there was a Warp3D hardware driver for the Pi's graphics chip?

@@Darrenhd2 You are right, emu68-vc4.card is still in the frame bufferf level compared of Vamp gfx driver. Maybe one day we will get Warp3D support and all other nice things, but the most important thing has been get the CPU working flawlessly.
