Nice! The aspect ratio is much wider. Apparently due to recording from emulator. I recall WinUAE to have a setting to correct the aspect ratio, but don't recall how well it works. That is now one fat, squished beach ball! ;)

yes basically this is 16:9 not the 4:3 the demo was designed for, I should of perhaps made it that....might make one more in capture in 4k. glad you enjoyed.

PS: this is running under emulation on WinUAE 4.0, captured viva Radeon Relive highest settings.

If one runs this demo in 0.25x speed, there is an interesting "shadow"/"color bleeding" artifact that appears from the red patches of the ball, shown on top of the white patches. When the ball rotates to the left, the shadow goes to the right, and vice versa. Does anyone know if this is just some kind of WinUAE NTSC emulation artifact (maybe interlaced->progressive conversion graphics effect emulation?), or was it a real rendering effect that had been implemented to this demo? It does give the red parts a somehow subtle elevated/3D look, compared to the white areas.

Answering myself: that is certainly a real effect: looking at the still image frame at in kzbin.info/www/bejne/j52kmYWAn7Sbesk when the ball is not moving, the shadow is also present there. Neat!

@@jukkajylanki4769 Its just part of the color cycling. You know how the ball is done right? So I guess they thought why not make a bit more depth / motion blur FX when we get it for free anyway.
