Excellent video! 1869 is a great game. I spent a lot of time on that one. Together with 2 or 3 mates , the Hero quest games and Space crusade also took a Big chunk of our soaré time. Lots of fun.

Roadkill is fantastic, ive spent many a hour playing that. I wish i knew about virocop when i was younger, id hae loved it. I love Dogs of war that ghosts and goblins box is stunning! another fantastic batch of games!

Fantastic vid Steve, so many good games in there mate, and loads I've never even heard of! OG Kick off cool but not a patch on 2! That dogs of war looked amazing, like Ikari warriors on steroids lol. Well done on the Ghosts n Goblins, another one of my arcade favs. Excellent stuff mate, ps was great to see you, if briefly on Saturday mate! 👍🍻

Always preferred sensible soccer to kick off personally. Yes mate that's an add on to heroquest, they did the same thing for space crusade as I remember. Roadkill looks fun, will have to give that one a go. Dizzy 🤮💩. The speccy port of bombjack is brilliant, definitely the best version. Virocop looks like a fun little game, don't remember it at all. Always enjoy seeing what you've picked up Steve 👍.

When I think about 4 out of 5 penalties converted, I’m instantly taken back to a rather unpleasant day in milan in the summer of 2016....most days I’ll take 4 out of 5 as well, hah. Always enjoy seeing your pick up vids, such an awesome game room you have, and watching these feels like hanging out in that fantastic room!

@@Sinisteve LOL, yeah, that wasn’t the nicest thing ever he did to ol’ Becks, so I understand. I’m American of Spanish/English/German, etc. ancestral heritage, lol. Just been an Atleti fan since Torres first played with us in the early 2000’s, was my favorite player when he was coming up, so 2016 in Milan was especially sad, because wanted to see him lift that cup.

CRTcade always remember Torres goal for Chelsea again Barca, he couldn’t keep possession for all the time he came on whilst Chelsea were getting battered the whole 2nd half with 10 men...then he pulls out the coolest finish to put the game to bed in stoppage time

Again a bunch of Amiga games I’ve not heard of lol. Yeah you’re right Bomb Jack is a belter on the speccy. Ghost n Goblins didn’t look to bad. I remember it being quite good on the ST as well. Though the sequel weren’t as good on the micros if I remember. Great vid mate and good to catch up at the weekend.

I believe the frame rate is worse on the ST like most other games Yeah good seeing you pal, just gutted could have a proper drink and catch up🙄

Awesome stuff. I played a lot of Dogs of War (pirate copy) back then and I think you just got further than I ever did 😂 Would be nice to have but I think it’s out of my price range now unless I get very lucky. Funny thing about Ghosts & Goblins is I was looking at an ST copy only in the last week or so that also had the Finale compilation disk, maybe that was a thing at one point? Some nice later games there, I bought Odyssey and Roadkill back BITD, sadly there’s no 2 player on Roadkill but its still decent and has awesome sound effects.

That’s interesting about the finale disk...I mean maybe they did start shipping them with them in later down the line, I’ll still keep my eye out for the original ones Yeah was loving the sound on roadkill, wish you could see more ahead of you but it didn’t help I was 2 feet away for the 50” tv🤓

You do like your golf. Quite fond of a golf game too and used to play the real thing. Didn't Nick Faldo have a Mars course? HATE did come in a few sizes. I only have the pocket power version. Good stuff.

Yeah I don’t mind a golf game at all, but never played Nick Faldo’s, I know I’ve got it, should give it a go, yeah I got a few of those pocket power versions too, very space friendly

I keep meaning to go through them all to make a note of what needs upgrades... But I’ve owned multiple copies of certain games and just upgrade when I find them in better condition

Great additions there mate. Highlight for me is obviously Dogs of War. If you fire your weapon first the character stands still and you can aim, rather than trying to run and gun which is really difficult. Also, the gatling gun is too expensive to start off in 1 player. Buy a cheaper machine gun, ammo, a rocket launcher, a couple of rockets and some grenades and that will cover you for the first few missions. Really like the look of Virocop. Was that a 1200 game only or was there an Amiga 500+ release?

Virocop was released for both but don’t know the differences if any... Yeah I’ve got to give Dogs of War a proper session, might do an Amiga stream soon

Switchblade, Virocop, Odyssey and Space Crusade are cool games. Never liked RTS games but I played a lot of Space crusade.

Kick Off doesn’t hold up too well nowadays, but in 1989 it was one of the best football games out, go play some older Amiga football games and see how utter tripe and slow they are!

Haha just a bit of banter, quite well known how much I prefer sensi over kick off, and I know the kicks offs take a lot more skill to get good at it. Played a ton of kick off 2 back in the day and I’m still awful

Sinisteve Retro Gamer oh for sure, i prefer Sensi too now, but at the time KO then KO2 were the best, and yes they took alot more practice to be able to be good, you know certain reviewers were crap at them when they rated them lower than average!

Zak Mckraken won’t stay, it’s too far gone😞 But hopefully I’ll replace it with some more lLucas Arts games, wouldn’t mind Maniac Mansion too, getting bloody expensive though🙈
