Ridiculously late comment on this video Steve haha.....Nice to see you back even if it was a few months ago now! I hear you on finding the time to make vids and not wanting to just show random stuff without really knowing about it or playing it first etc, I'm in the same boat. I think Rubicon is fairly uncommon, I know it took me ages to find one a few years ago. The Paperboy cab is nice....eventually when we move I wouldn't mind getting a couple of cabs although I'm sure 2 would soon turn into 3 and then 4 etc haha All the best for 2023 mate, hopefully you'll pitch up a bit more regularly as the year progresses!

Great to see you back with another video. The games room is looking stunning, I love the mix of Japanese candy and dedicated cabs. Donkey Kong and Paper Boy are awesome additions. I also own a Donkey Kong and must be the worlds worst DK player, I do struggle with it. As you say though there is just something about the cab. I'd absolutely love a Paper Boy, Atari games were so unique and innovative. You've knocked it out of the park with the pick ups. The Japanese Megadrive shooter bundle is incredible. I recently had the same dilemma regarding duplicate Pal and Japanese Megadrive titles and just decided to keep both in the end. Japanese Megadrive is my main focus, but it's nice to have the Pal titles in the collection for the nostalgia factor and also in some cases the cool alternative box art.

Cheers Jase👍 I reckon I’ve had around a dozen credits on donkey Kong in about 5 months! But I just love looking at it🙈 I’ll definitely keep the pal versions too, there shouldn’t be too many duplicates, probably around 8 I think

Welcome back! Congratulations on getting Arena, that copy look in mint condition. A similar box to Deep Space which reminds me ages ago on a pickup video you moved a manual/comic thing called Stryx from the Deep Space box to the Stryx box, but it actually does belong in Deep Space, confusingly. I absolutely love seeing those wallet cases for the SX64, I hope this is the start of an extensive new collection? Very interesting about RP multiple listings of the same item, it wouldn’t surprise me at all, I suspect all sorts goes on on eBay.

Yeah really happy with the condition on Arena, I know it can discolour quite bad…I’m going to have to dig that stryx paperwork out now haha🙈 I’ll definitely be getting a few more c64 disk games. Really love the artwork on Salamander and I’ve heard it’s not a bad port either. Hope you’re well mate👍

Ah, so you’re the one who got James’s PaperBoy. I was in talks with him about swapping my Egret II for it but I messed him about for too long and was on the fence! It looks superb as does Donkey Kong! So many games and all are awesome. I don’t think there is anything there that I wouldn’t love to have. Happy Christmas 😅

Nah it’s pretty cluttered….I mean you won’t find a cleaner way to set up around 25 consoles/computers in a little space but it’s all a little overkill

Amazing pickup mates, the cab line up is looking amazing ! Insane Megadive bundle, sounds like you got a fantastic deal as twinkle tale and eliminate down alone cost a fortune, picked up a slapfight MD and Darius extra recently great games. The only one I havent played is eliminate down, think I missed the boat on that one 😂😂 Great to see you back making videos, you will need a couple of hours of footage to show that PS4 bundle 😂

Allright mate ! Good to see you ! Brilliant video as usual. 1st : ”Paperboy”. One of my top arcade money-eaters ever. Love that game. In fact ; I still have an old Samsung fold-up mobile phone with a very true version of that game on it. I’ll have to have the charger plugged in to play it , because the battery is long gone. 2nd : ”Lethal weapon” is an absolute masterpiece. First time , I went in cynical but was totally flabbergasted. Great fun ! It would be great fun to see you do your personal Amiga toplists in different genres. Platformers , shoot-em ups , point n click , rpg’s , simulators , driving games , god games , fighting games , adventure games , footballers & other sportgames , boardgame-to-computer games and any other genre you could think of. 🤣I’ve been collecting old Villa shirts lately and was going to start doing videos wearing them but completely forgot Completely agree with the arcade lineup, just flows better, paperboy is ridiculously rare over here and I don’t understand why🤔everyone remembers playing it, I think it maybe an unreliable game so maybe loads were skipped

Good to see what you’ve been up to mate. Though it’s a shame you never showed the PS4 shooters as it would be nice to see if you have any I’m missing. My PS4 shooter set is looking pretty healthy to be fair. The Vewlix stick is a beast. I saw one in CEX Liverpool a couple of years back for £175. I should have got it to be honest. Some absolute banging MD shooters there. I think the new Darius game is one that that M2 guys made from the ground up and was the game that was thrown on the MD Mini. Some great additions to the cabs too. I thought the alternative marquee was a nice little touch. PS You never did post a Salamander 2 score ;). I’m enjoying GunSmoke, but boy is it tough.

I went to pick up some switch games to show off but couldn’t remember the name of one of them so back on the shelf it went haha Should’ve grabbed the vewlix stick if it was that cheap they’re really decent. Something about horizontal shooters that don’t grab me as much for some reason, there’s a few I really like but vertical shooters is where it’s at. Gun.smoke is awesome! Can’t believe I’d never really played it before, much better than Commando

Yes, nice to see a new update video, a retro themed one too so even better. A nice run through of the gamesroom at the beginning, cab lineup is looking stellar, I do like the asti's but the paperboy in it's place is very special, such an icon in the 80s arcades, a game I'd always invest a few bob in down the arcades. Nice that daves old faithful dk is with you, deffo need to reset that high score table, he's a games playing robot ninja hahaha personally I prefer the og marquee btw in answer to your question, great game though, again one of my very early arcade faves although I guess I'd have been playing some sort of krazy kong boot. Ace md stg bundle, imo if you like shooters, you have to chose to collect the Japanese variants on any system up until I guess these days, simply because that's where the majority were released so if you collect pal you miss out on so much and it's nice to have the uniformity of owing all the games from a certain region, Japanese games look so cool too, I agree though, a lot of my nostalgia is for pal aswell, I know you could collect for both regions hahaha Looking forward to next years update already lol 👍

Cheers Craig, yeah paperboy trumps the Asti all day long. Knowing me I’ll just keep the Pal and Japanese duplicates but as you say you’ve got to go down the import route, even now with the M2 ports not getting Western releases, shame really as a bit of translation wouldn’t go a miss

The lineup of cabs looks fantastic and the Paperboy looks awesome. Personally prefer the original DK marquee but the updated one is cool That Xbox stick looks brilliant especially if that adapter allows you to play it on the og Xbox as that's sorely lacking in decent sticks Amazing bunch of MD shooter pickups, couldn't but a better bundle I'd say ✌️👍

Yeah love those MD games, not a bad game in there, I think I prefer the original marquee on DK as well, might just frame the custom one and display it somewhere.

Personally I would put the original marquee on donkey Kong but its yours so have it how you like 🤣. Paperboy looks so good next to outrun, very jealous. Love bomb jack, the sequel isn't up to much though unfortunately. It's actually not bomb jack, was originally Thundercats and changed at the last minute for some reason. Uses to really like base jumpers, had forgotten all about it. Don't mention hitsquads 😭. Nice megadrive bundle, huge fan of fireshark and thunderforce 4. Didn't know slapfight got a megadrive release, used to love the spectrum conversion. The room layout looks stunning mate, nice to see you back.

That cover was custom made, the guys email is [e-mail] maybe have a word with him. The temperature is always pretty cool as it’s a converted garage so nowhere near as much insulation as the house

I have a Saitek Megagrip 1 joystick new in box. I'm trying to gain some traction for my new KZbin channel and will happily post to anyone in the UK who has a retro gaming channel for a shootout on their video.
