Story 1: lady keeps yelling and acting aggressive after being warned that the dog could bite. All over a dog answering nature's call at the edge of her yard, which was going to be picked up. Then follows OP around for over an hour. That lady is crazy and a danger.

Story 1: Yea this Karen was a total pshyco. I get not wanting to have a dog take a dump on your lawn or property or whatever, but it looks like the OP didnt leave it there, and did warn her about the dog. Maybe the latter wasnt a good idea, but still. As for the Karen, her actions were totally nuts. I think the police would have it out more for her her constantly following and recording the OP here. Great way to be a stalker. Hopefully the OP never sees her ever again after this. What a nutjob. Story 2: Okay, is the mother going no contact here really a bad thing? If this is how she is reacting towards this, then how bad are things going to get if you continue to enable her. Shes a total drama queen. Also, the OP's wedding its entirely up to the OP, not the mom or anyone else. Story 3: Build confidence? Gahahahaha.... now that has to be one of the lamest excuses ive ever heard in my life. The BIL is just a lazy manipulative slob, there's no other way around it. I can totally understand why the OP can feel bitter and jaded about it. Since the OP can't do anything about it... i think he should just ignore the BIL. Visit the grandparents, but don't pay the BIL any heed. Story 4: A classic case of "If you give an inch, they'll take a mile". Is this friend really a friend here? Also, it almost sounds like the OP, the friend, and others are only around her husband because he is rich. This is also a good reason why you dont give out money and dont ask for money. Stuff like this ALWAYS happens. Story 5: Okay.... he broke up with you, what does HE need closure for? Also, this is another classic case as to why long distance relationships generally don't work. Sounds like the OP can do better this this guy.

Comment on story 4: I think she should give him the money because she when she was in a tight situation he helped her, but he didn’t need to help her and of course it’s expected that what comes around goes around, so it’s obvious to expect a friend that you helped but you didn’t have to. You are going to expect the same from her. I know the pressure but she needs to understand the differences between friends and friends.

The third story. For me the OP is the jerk cause he sounds jealous that his lazy brother in law gets supported by his grandparents. The OP said so himself that his wife didn't get any hands out while attending college and neither OP and wife asked the grandparents for anything which in my viewpoint say that they enjoy earning their money instead of asking for a helping hand and maybe that is how the grandparents see it as well. So to the OP if you need money to buy a house ask the grandparents if they could spare anything, they aren't mindreaders, or just get over your feelings about the lazy brother in law.
