Bought the Ammoon in 2017. I got 5 mins of use before it emitted a screeching howl and couldn't be resurrected. Replaced it with the dual-purpose Electro-Harmonix Canyon, which is a great pedal. Great channel BTW.

I'm a fan of cheap gear in general, but this broke after about 3 uses. It just stopped powering on altogether. And yes, I was using the proper cord.

Great video, thx. The instruction with the Ammoon looper are very vague. When turned off, what's recorded isn't saved, or is there a hidden secret to saving it. Saving to the SD card appears to only apply for use on other devices. Not very useful for playing live, or do I have to ask my audience to excuse me while I pre-record my rhythm track.

Does anyone else experience a 1-second delay between loops with this thing? I recieved mine yesterday and played it for over an hour but I always get a 1-second break between loops which drives me insane. The whole point of a looper is to create a perfect "loop" not have breaks in between. And yes, I've already owned two so far, so I know how they work.

i've yet to test it properly, but on my first impression i definitely noticed a slight delay when pressing on the button to it going into record mode to just record my first loop. It was like it was starting recording not when i pressed on the button but when the button clicked back up, so to speak. Is this normal? Did the other two copies you receive have problems?

@@therampanthamster No, i meant I owned two loopers before this. They were Boss and TC and they looped perfectly. From what I can tell, only some users experience this issue, just like only some can't connect the pedal to the official software. There's a glued SD card inside the pedal, so my guess is the card is cheap and doesn't transfer data faster? Maybe...

Use the USB at your peril! My AP-09 worked fine for the simple standard looping, however it died after I tried to use the USB file transfer, something I found out after the event seems to happen more often. The "manual" doesn't list any special instructions such as given above.

I think I have the same issue after I tried to import looper into looper (the one I export from the looper before) The looper stop to work, only red light after press/long press/duble press, and not response to any action after that. I read someone with the same issue that make firmware update and it work for him, I try to find FW and do, but meantime I didn't find. If you find one let me know, I also update about it.

I bought one of this good gadget. However, the manual book that goes with it is hopeless. Not very communicative. Takes a lot of time and frustration to understand how it works.

Mine worked for about a year. Now when I use it for more than a few minutes, it suddenly and unpredictably lets out a loud screech. If I was playing at a high volume, it would have taken out my speaker. Not worth the risk.

Good guitar playing but that's not what I'm looking for. Ammoon's website very minimal on instructions so was looking for a good demo. Close-ups on the pedal, which jacks go where would have been useful rather than a lot of chat and close-ups on guitar fingering and on how good the pedal is.

Do not use their software. I had the same pedal from donner (same factory but different branding) and wanted to import a music file to create a loop. Due to an issue to this software and a bad teamplay between the programm and the pedal, the pedal broke and I was not able to fix it. It happens to all of these little nano loopers. Just look it up and read some reviews. Once you plugged in your little looper to a pc, you can throw it away.

You basically need to think like a sound engineer. If you record two tracks with the same settings (bass, middle, treble) and volume over each other, they will start drowning each other and sound like a mess. Fiddle with your volume knobs, pickups and settings to create a different rhythm, clean, and lead sound. It takes a bit to get used to, but it's not something you can't figure out.

The device is bad, for the price. Used a lot of combinations of pedal clicks. Could not erase the old loop, to write a new one. Not recommended for purchase. Russians told: хуйня!

Should do his actual research before posting a review. This guy lost all his cred with me. It doesn't work with macs, and the usb is junk. I've not read of anyone who has gotten the software to work on anything. If it didn't have the usb on it, I'd say it's a great looper, but it's got one, and it's garbage and disingenuous, and it's a bummer when people - unknowingly - perpetuate garbage on their fellow players.

@@addictedtogear Yes it's pretty basic, but simply showing the modes and lights along with the effects on the playing would help. My Ammoon instruction leaflet is wrong and is very badly written. For example, I have to have NO light on to begin with, then press once to go into record mode, whereas the instructions say: "1. LED lights will (be) flashing. 2. step on footswitch into recording status" -Doesn't work for me. I think your piece would be more aptly titled "Playing Demonstration" rather than "Review...".
