Just discovered her music. I’m not one to get overly romantic about the arts but I am floored by her music. It has smoked me more than anything in the last decade. It’s so beautifully crafted and I can’t wait to see her live when she tours again

@@amphitheatre one of their biggest, pal. first album of post-damo era, contains absolutely fantastic tracks. dizzy dizzy with perfectly arranged string section, charming and dark come sta la luna, a sip of avant-garde jazz in splash, messy chain reaction, which unexpectedly flows into meditative quantum physics. for me that record opened can from a very different side after listening to tago mago and ege bamyasi for months. a masterpiece!

Funny, I only got into her and the new album last night and loved it instantly, been hooked since, non-stop. And the only other thing I've listened to The Durutti Column's "Vini Reilly", had been thinking of Scott Walker at some moments on her other albums too (wonder if she's a fan of Sibylle Baier.) Incredible talent!
