Amoebic Encephalitis : അമീബിക് മസ്തിഷ്ക ജ്വരം സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ച കോഴിക്കോട് ഫറോക്ക് സ്വദേശിയായ പന്ത്രണ്ടുകാരന്റെ ആരോഗ്യ നില ഗുരുതരമായി തുടരുന്നു. കോഴിക്കോട്ടെ സ്വകാര്യ ആശുപത്രിയിലെ വെന്റിലേറ്ററിൽ ചികിത്സയിലാണ് കുട്ടി. രോഗം ബാധിച്ചതെന്ന് കരുതുന്ന പൊതു കുളം അണു വിമുക്തമാക്കിയാക്കിയ ശേഷം അടച്ചു.
A 12-year-old from Farook, Kozhikode, who was diagnosed with amoebic encephalitis, remains in critical condition. The child is being treated on a ventilator in a private hospital in Kozhikode. A public pool believed to be infected was disinfected and closed.
