Awesome! Ever since I was introduced to this band with "The Bee," Tomi's vocals have become the standard or bar that I use. No raspy or thin growls here! They are deep and resonant and gives me goosebumps. Yes, a good test of someone's harsh vocals ability is how they perform live which doesn't provide a lot of opportunity for them to be manipulated or enhanced. IMHO, he's the best!

If growls are regarded i prefer the old vocals of the other Tomi in the band, Koivusaari. Not as powerful but deeper and more distinct i think. Though, overall the current singer is the better vocalist for sure

"Tales" is a legendary album, but Tomi singing the old songs is something else. I need to get this upcoming live album. They might be better live than in studio, based on my experience of seeing them live on two occasions. You should definitely go and see them.

You definately should go see them live if you can. I've seen them twice in the last three weeks and have tickets to a metal festival later this year where I'll see them again. It's a pleasure to listen to them live, they are even better live than on an album.
