I just bought this. This is the real deal guys. Zero noise, nothing but tones for days. Highly recommended

I have to say your riffing on this video was stellar! This is an awesome amp and you really brought out it's potential here. I am also a huge Periphery fan and I am kind of lucky as I just found them and other Progressive/Djent music only a couple years ago so listening to P2 is still super new to me. I hope you are having tons of fun learning and playing. I have been playing for a few decades (yikes) and I still get chills when I hear certain songs or even new ones that just get it right. It would be great to one day hear a tune or 2 that you made in your own style, the world can never have enough awesome music! Forgive me if you already have something like this out, I kind of live under a rock...

Wow that tone in the intro! Super inspiring! And sounds absolutely amazing. This plugin seems like my dream tones.

The colour of the guitar is very prog especially with the kind of tone it is producing. Edit: just listened to its(the guitar) clean tone 7:26 and its just wow! Pristine

If I'm not mistaken amp 2 in Archetype Plini is a be100 model
@KeyanHoushmandLive3 жыл бұрын
I read somewhere that it was a hybrid of it. That amp is my fav in that plug-in and it sounds great, but it’s not a fully fledged BE-100 sim like this, with all the knobs and switches that a real BE-100 has.
@justevan8773 жыл бұрын
@@KeyanHoushmandLive Yeah i thought so too. But it's the whole reason i bought the plugin! I needed that mark holcomb "mile zero" T O A N

ML Sound Lab amp sims, as well as NeuralDSP, have a lot of post-EQ and noise reduction built-into them to make them "mix-ready". I prefer NaLex's Crunchman because it's more raw and closer to what the amp actually sounds like.

Good video. Didn't Brainworx do a BE 100?

I think the 2nd amp in Archetype: Plini is meant to be a BE100
@midnightmix26923 жыл бұрын
That is completely true! It is my favourite amp sim I've ever had and I have quite a lot
@thedudeofficial693 жыл бұрын
I've been using a helix and an axe 2 for awhile and none of the amps on archetype plini sound like the BE100/HBE. EQ is quite different/same settings don't translate, mids aren't as boxy. The amps in plini sound amazing, but they're quite unique and might not even be designed to model anything in particular.
@chaoschaoforever3 жыл бұрын
@@thedudeofficial69 When Plini was asked on Instagram about his plug-in and what amps they were modeled after he said the clean was a Fender/Dumble Hybrid, the crunch is indeed a Friedman BE100, and the lead amp is a HBE/5150 Hybrid.
@thedudeofficial693 жыл бұрын
@@chaoschaoforever interesting. The combo between it and the cab is a lot thinner than all the BE/HBEs I'm familiar with.
@chaoschaoforever3 жыл бұрын
@@thedudeofficial69 Well we don't know what the cab was that was used. I speculate it's an old Mesa 4x12 Cab with V30s as he had that before he had the plug-in. Plini stated in a video that he's had and used one for years but Mikko isn't allow to talk about the cabs he used during his time working for Neural.

how do you get those pickups to be so quiet? I can't even pluck in and I get a ton of hiss noise and it's practically unplayble. I'm using a stratocaster, but I've seen others use the same guitar as well with no noise. Do you think it could be a grounding issue in the guitar ?
@Emm_R_Guitar Жыл бұрын
Are you sitting close to your computer or other electronics? Single coils pick up everything . Humbuckers are quite as bad for this due to how they are designed. But computers / lights put put alot of EMI which guitars will pick up :)

I'm really wanting to invest in another plug in (I currently have Bias FX which I find absolute garbage now) and was wondering whether you deem ML soundlabs or neural DSP the best bang for your buck for an all round clean and distorted tones?
