So that pretty much confirmed the thermostat in your car is working. If you want to know if the additive works, you need to put a temp prob in your upper radiator hose, and one in the lower radiator hose and measure the temperature difference. That will tell you how efficiently the radiator is able to remove heat from the coolant, with and without the additive.

No he needs to check culinder head temps not coolant temps

@@JEaston71 Testing the cylinder head temps will not provide an accurate measurement of how much heat the radiator is removing. It will tell you the average amount of heat in the head and that can be useful, but the way to test the effective heat transfer of a component is not to test some other component. If you want to know how much heat the radiator is removing, you test the radiator. If you want to know how much heat the head is delivering to the coolant, you would test the inlet temp of the coolant (before it enters the head) and again test the temp of the coolant as it exits the head. The heat rise of the coolant in that case would tell you how much heat transfer was occurring in the head. This is a much harder test to do.

It pulls more heat out the heads and expels more put the Rad coolant temps should remain pretty similar but the head temps should be cooler due to more efficient heat transfer. Water pulls the heat out the heads, rad pulls the heat out the water.

Bad test. This isn't how this stuff works. It reduces surface tension and increases heat transfer from the head to the coolant. You need a way to check cylinder head temps not the actual coolant temps

Coolant is higher and intake has higher temps. Doesn't look like a win if you want cooler temps. Great if you life in the snow belt, horrible if you live in the sun belt.

why the air intake temps are higher after the use of the product? This is not good just to know!

So it just warmed up faster? Were you just idling the whole time? It’s hard to tell if there was any benefit There should’ve been some sort of load put on like uphill driving (same route for both of course)

The addictove absorb heat better.. transfering heat from emgine and it bring heat more

If it warms up faster it transfers heat better

It's not easy to do KZbin videos - know. From my knowledge, the thermostat slowly opens to let coolant flow through the block as the vehicle warms up. So, this isn't a good test, but I do know that AMSOIL advertise this product to heat vehicles up quicker. So, .... In other words, you are doing the impossible.

You have to drive the car like you normally do not just idle

I like Amsoil oil but this this just silliness and unnecessary. Good vid though
