It's funny: its starting point was in Toledo and ended in Columbus. And Toledo, apart from being a city in the state of Ohio, there is also a Toledo in Spain. Specifically, in Castilla-La Mancha. And also, a Spanish-made test train had its starting point in a city that also has that name in Spain. I don't know if I believe in coincidences, but this is the most curious thing that could have happened to me looking for Talgo compositions from the United States.

Such a great train set. Shame how the whole Cascades situation was handled, after Amtrak 501 and the Government of Wisconsin with Talgo...

this was before the talgo 6 coaches and for Amtrak Cascades

I just found out that this happened, how curious to see a Talgo train painted with old Amtrak colors leaving from Toledo (Ohio) named after the city of Toledo in Spain, I also learned that this same set returned to Spain for testing on the High-Speed Rail, which later became the famous Talgo 350.

Wow! I did not know that Amtrak did a Talgo Test train in Ohio! I thought that it was only out west in Washington State! Very interesting!

Thats because they toured this Talgo set (or two) around parts of the country like they did with the ICE trainset

Wow! That's interesting! You know, I've been to Marion, Ohio with my dad a few times. Of course, Conrail is bought by CSX and Norfolk Southern now.
