This song is one of the major reasons why I am still alive. I had a hard childhood due to bullying so much so I was depressed by the age of 10 and suicidal by the age of 11. This song came out around that time period and music played a vital role for me in the last 80s/early 90s. Well when I was 12 and in the 7th grade. I was by then going to a private school, since my parents believed that would help me and it did. Well the school had a talent show. I decided to give it a try and I sang this song. My grandpa was there too. I always believed I got my singing voice from my late Grandma after she passed away since she could sing, but I never could sing until after she passed away. I must have done a good job saving this song because the next day at school, literally all of the girls in my class came up to me saying how much they enjoyed my singing and invited me to 'hang out', which was a God sent. So this song, helped me make friends, and along with other factors like developing a personal relationship with God and Jesus, and having teachers who believed in me, well, these things help me see the value in myself and saved me. So this song will always have a special place in my heart, so thank you Amy Grant for creating this lovely song!

The first time I ever heard Amy Grant sing was back in 1990 & it was Christmas songs. My boss at that time told me how Amy sang Christian music - that definitely got my attention. When this came out... the album Heart In Motion. I was a child. I listened to the cassette tape so much I wore out 2 copies.... then CDs became popular so I got the CD.
