I only just found this band and immediately sent it to my daughter, I know she'll be asleep, but she'll be happy to wake up to some really well produced punk rock. I think it's crazy that someone would not only listen to something this boring, but actually be happy that it continues to exist. I don't about that. The fire and energy of the 60s may be there but the protest isn't. At least in the 60s and 70s, bands that played this type of sound stood for something that was trailblazing. I see magazine reviews on this band calling the lead singer the new Wendy O. Williams which she is far from on many levels. I've been following this band since their public inception and as of late I feel like I'm watching them in their twilight as they release a new record that is full of the same rehashed aesthetics deeming them more and more a "one-trick" pony. That said, their music is very good and fun, especially that first record. But visually it is very trite and their influences are too obvious.
