Good Friday morning Amy! I'm working away in my kitchen as I watch today also gathering my fragments to get a few meals ready in the fridge for the long weekend. Sadly where I live we go back into lockdown on Sat. For 30 days....so grocery shopped yesterday and today boiling an herbed chicken to make chicken soup and chicken salad for the fridge! Breads baking in my breadmaker....and working on a cold pasta salad with salami, cheese, diced veggies...will be back to online church services for the next while....but I'm grateful I have that. Skype with family on Sunday as well...thank you for being a constant in my life. Won't be shaken by what life throwing way....great words...I needed to hear that today. Have a blessed resurrection weekend. 🙏

I love how you are getting so much use out of the waffle iron! Makes me soooo happy I got it. I also wanted to share that I've been listening to a short sermon each morning or if I can't sleep at night. So many things going on/breaking. I was getting overwhelmed. I did what one of the sermons said and stopped trying to control it. I gave it to God. Asked for help to get things done and suddenly I had a neighbor stop over and fix my car windshield wiper for free! The dealership wanted $120 to "diagnose" it! I tried to give him Easter candy and some money but he wouldn't take it. What a big relief though. I live in Florida. It rains! I actually was in tears, not just because of kindness but because I KNOW that the moment I handed that to the Lord, he fixed it for me.

One of our favorite soups is a combination of two soups. Cabbage soup with all the veggies plus ham and red bean soup. I had soup of both leftover and stirred them together and boy was it yummy. I froze it in quart containers and pull out as needed. 🥰

Amy I use the scoop and scoop all the meatballs place on baking sheet then go back and roll them all. That makes it much quicker and you don't get the scoop all greasy.

Friday gathering fragments was good! Loved the sound of the general tsu chicken, I gathered some fragments of veg tonight and roasted some cauliflower and butternut squash to go with out chicken breast.. loved the new mug, very simple but effective, afraid I’m a bit shaken though, was at the eye clinic for tests yesterday and the pigment at the back of my eye has changed, I now have more and it’s gone onto the other eye. Not what I wanted to hear sadly, means my chances of glycoma are pretty high. Not a happy lady here, at least I am being monitored closely and will be given medication as soon as it is required to stop me loosing my eyesight. Yeahy for free health care in the UK! .... hope you have a wonderful Easter weekend, I’m sure we will see it next week. Big hugs ! X

I make Cabbage, Polish sausage, and potatoes all the time. Boil it in a small amount of water and your potatoes make it thick. I grew up eating it, my mom made it, and I love it!

The Gathering Place is the name of one of our city parks here in Tulsa. It was listed as the best park in the nation. It is amazing and was privately funded and financially set up for maintenance. Amy I wanted you to know that I looked for the knorr on Amazon. The main ingredient is Salt and second is monosodium glutamate. 1tsp. has 36% of daily salt. Just letting you know. I cook for my mother and have to look at all these things. Thought you might want to know! Best to just make your own and freeze it.
