Buildings were made from real wood, from real trees. Ones that grew naturally versus how we grow trees in 2024 monoculture in grid patterns, factory tree farming is faster and more efficient but doesn't produce near the quality. In ye olden days, these homes were sheathed in stone or brick, now we use vinyl (plastic sheeting). People spend big money on a steel door when you could cut your way through an outdoor wall with a battery powered saw's zall.

Most people consider a castle to be (or have originally been) a military fortification. Over the decades they weren’t needed for defense and became beautiful homes. That might be why some are scoffing at “castle” rather then “mansion”. A mansion would have been built from the start as a house.

There is still a lot that needs to be completed - there is no railing crownlet on the balcony roof, there is no carved, intricate valance under the balcony roof, the balcony posts are straight. Straight roofing window platbands were on the original plans. The bar is already a small extension. But if I were a billionaire, I would take it and return everything to the original plans - the entire exterior.

Overall, I enjoyed this video. The house and history were quite nice... But, having all of the commentary coming into only my left ear while the music came in the right was a bit difficult to listen to. I'm not trying to bash your video, just giving a bit of constructive criticism/advice for moving forward. Balancing the audio between both channels will allow for a more "comfortable" experience that may lead to more views and likes.
