In case nobody has told you yet. -The American embassy man was played by Frank Oz; best known for being one half of the OG Muppets. -David was know (at the time) for singing the Dr Pepper song. -Rick Baker had some stiff competition with "the Howling" who's effects were being handled by Rob Botin.
@tommc36222 күн бұрын
Not exactly competition. Rick Baker was actually also the effects guy on "The Howling." He had already promised Dante that he would do AAWIL, but didn't realize production was starting when he accepted "The Howling." He left his protégé Rob Bottin in charge of finishing the film while he went to work on AAWIL.
@misterpricklyКүн бұрын
@tommc3622 I know that, but Baker (in an interview) said that he treated it like a competition. It was one of the reasons why he did a fully lit transformation as opposed to a shadowed one.

2 fun facts for you... From one Muppet fan to another. Frank Oz plays that annoying guy in the hospital right after David wakes up and is telling his story. Frank Oz does the voice to many of the great Muppets, Miss Piggy, Cookie Monster, Grover, Animal and Fozzie Bear, as well as Yoda in Star Wars. This is why you see the Muppet Show on the TV during David's dream. ... Fun Fact 2. ... You mentioned that Jack was looking bad, Michael Jackson's Thriller kind of bad. I love the way the future werewolf is riding with the sheep! Also, the phase “See you next Wednesday “ is a joke about a really British phase “See you next Tuesday” or C.U.N. and the first letter of Tuesday. The s*x scenes are there for a purpose. As David becomes more animalistic, he is attracted towards violence, blood, and s*x, so as we get to the end of the movie there are more reference to it.
