With science being limited to the natural and physical world and the opposite of natural being Supernatural and the opposite of physical being spiritual I often find it ironical when intellectual scientific atheists attempt to explain away the existence of God especially knowing that intelligence will never equate to wisdom and how intelligence often inspires pride where wisdom inspires humility. Less than ironic humility and pride are opposites so it's no wonder how intelligence can stifle wisdom.

Indeed, intelligence alone does not necessarily lead to wisdom, for wisdom involves humility, discernment, and the ability to recognize that there are realities beyond human understanding. Intellectual pride can often hinder the sincere pursuit of spiritual truth. But God reveals Himself to the humble, to those who acknowledge their need for Him. May we always seek true wisdom-the kind that comes from the fear and love of the Lord. 🙏✨

Instead of the mish mash of supposably intellectually,, Lewis just should have stated. ,,, Sir all you have to do to prove to yourself that God is real is take a bible and ask the holy spirit with a honest sincere heart to reveal God's word with meaning as you read it and he will do just that if you are sincere. You must be sincere with yourself and God for him to show up in your life. If your not, your just wasting your time, because the Lord see,s your heart and if your playing games with God he will never show up.😇💜🙏

I understand your point. C.S. Lewis had a more philosophical and rational approach to reaching those who might not accept faith immediately. But it is true that seeking God is a deeply personal journey. Sincerity before Him opens the heart to the truth, and those who seek Him with all their hearts will surely find Him. May we always draw near to God with humility and sincerity, trusting that He will reveal His Word to us. 🙏💜

Wow! Let's pretend this is a real story that happened as described, I mean it's not but I will roll with it. You are telling the story of a real live strawman. The atheist professor, if real, is an idiot with no ability to think. So we have a young professor who has reached the level of a professor who has no idea how to argue, think, and doesn't understand anything. So you are telling the story of a weak argument from a person who shouldn't be a professor. This is weak. I would say fiction. These arguments were better argued long before this mythical story. A third year philosophy student could argue both sides better. A recommendation for apologists. Stop lying. Stop making things up. Stop telling stories that aren't true. If you want to step beyond faith make good arguments. If you are incapable of doing this and you feel a great need to write a bullshit story talk to an atheist first and make your strawman slightly believable.

I stated a fact that science being limited to the natural and physical which are direct opposites of Supernatural and spiritual, cannot prove or disprove the supernatural to which you replied the statement is so broad it has no meaning. Of course assuming that science and what you have been told will be the basis of your means in which to debate, you have nothing more than your opinion to operate from. Apparently this too is so broad it lacks meaning. A simple fact of the matter is that my comment left you with absolutely nothing to say because there is nothing there you're able to argue against. Less than ironic quite similar to the outcome of the hypothetical scenario originally presented that you are attempting to discredit. Understanding you have nothing more than your opinion to debate from I'm sure you would like to interject from a philosophical standpoint considering that would be your last means of debate but philosophy is unable to prove or disprove the supernatural as well and of course philosophy in its purest form leaves two people going in circles considering the fact that philosophy when applied can quite adeptly counter the previous philosophy given. Again, you'll have nothing to offer here, so I ask you, in what manner are you equipped to offer a debate, with the inability to use science or its' terms and methods or philosophy to prove or disprove anything regarding the supernatural? What means do you have to approach this conversation? I hope you can understand what's being conveyed here and that your final conclusion would not be that it has no meaning.
