an autoimmune disease changed my life

I've decided to share my story with you all. As I have mentioned, I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis 9 years ago. I didn't know at the time where it would lead me, but I'm here now. I talk about the pressure I felt as well as my struggle with mental health, and how my diagnosis impacted that. This was difficult for me to talk about, and I had to take many breaks, so please be patient with me. Thank you for taking the time to listen to me and to give me a space to be open.

@@DVNLYHealing I was been in a hell, walking through nothingness, emptiness, I was been like a demon but luckily , brave enough to stand and go into the storm. I was been in the edge of death and life, but never ever giving up, standing in the storm, full of pain, full of wounds, but I just know myself and who am I, my heart.. I was been separated from the love, like child from the mother womb.. and today, I will dance with my heart like a batterfly and flower, standing in the filed of who am I, created from love.

Dont be so hard on yourself remembering the bad, or the less than perfect ways you probably acted with during your suffering, it was just your essence trying its best to have you survive.They weren't flaws in character, you were simply acting out of instincts to survive. Surviving doesn't look pretty. My story mirrors yours somewhat.I wont get into too much. Your ancestors are proud of you.
