Another spectacular sleepover!!! I love these and the sweet glimpses we get to see of their personalities at home! Fishans bonds with Timi is so beautiful! Limpopo's love of her sister, Timi's very strong bond with Pisa! I love love love watching Pisa sleep...half the time her cute little eyes are open (witnessed this last time as well) She must feel the great bond little Timi has for her...its beyond special! Tokwe always making sure of calmness and support for them all! really enjoyed seeing them lay on the mounds! Sebakwe, Setombe, and Klasserie (I think) all like little families in their own beds! A special ending with with the babies of the herd sleeping side by side! It just doesnt get any better than this! Thank you Herd...for this up close and personal side of this beloved Herd!!! ❤🧡💛💚💙

I love watching the Ele nightcam. It's amazing seeing them all sooo chillaxed. Fishan is sooo gentle. He's definitely a gentleman. And Pisa, Timisa and Towke aswell as Fishan all stand very close to Khanyisa. Sooo protective too. Love them all. Having grown up with a variety of animals it seems they move around throughout the night. I truly appreciate how much information is presented in the videos, I particularly was astounded by Owen presenting the uses of the elephants truck. Ah more scenes from the ellie cam there’s nothing better. I think besides the relationship between Timi & Sunshine along with Kumbura Lundi & Sunshine Fish & Cupcake have one of the sweetest most beautiful bonds it’s just so endearing watching this all powerful 4 ton giant of a bull be so gentle affectionate and loving towards the littlest ones in his family absolutely melts me. I love how Timi slowly wiggled her way in between Pisa and Limpopo, then she tries to use Pisa as a sleeping mound. Is she as close to Limpopo as she is Pisa? Fish finally making his way to stand by the girls. The two little ones were tuckered out by daybreak as Mama Tokwe watches over them, they both looked like they were sleeping soundly at last. Love to watch them at night, thank you.

Love the spy camera It says so much on the interaction between our Ellies This time the best is Gentleman Fishan giving love trunk to Timisa and later Timi looking for cuddles from Fishan so heartwarming ! He is so caring and so gentle with his girlies Timi did a festival this night sleeping on her friend Pisa and stood leaning on Limpopo not to fall asleep on Pisa or on the floor😂🤣 So cute also little Miss Sunshine and Timi sleeping side by side on the floor carefully protected by wonderful Matriarch Tokwe 💝🐘 Gentleman Fishan also resting his head on the rear of ?? Kumbura I also had a question who is next to Tokwe/Fishan's group? I love these nighttime videos. You can observe a lot. Fishan is very fond of sweet and beautiful Timisa 💞Who can resist her gentle and noninTIMIdating personality? It was sweet to watch. My take is that Timi doesn't like it when her little friends Pisa and Khanyisa lie down TOO LONG-unless she also can lie down with them. She has a cute way of using that little back kick of hers, trunk taps and straddles to get them to get up. While watching Pisa intently with Limpopo right next to her, she was very discreet in her movements. And Limpopo doesn't miss much. All in all, it was a very calm night in the Homestead~

I wish Fishan had a rubber Matt to stand on vs the concrete. Wildlife SOS has giant Matt’s on their concrete. Their elephants stand on rubber mats in order to decrease arthritic legs. ❤HERD❤

Never heard of those mats, but it makes sense. So similar to what a lot of people here in the USA have in kitchens to ease feet, legs and backs from standing on hard and unforgiving floors. Obviously be double cleaning for the Homestead crew but certainly be helpful to these great giants especially as they get on in years. Second time watching this video, as I can never get enough of watching these magnificent creatures! What is the overnight temp? Will Fishan being a bull elephant ever leave to go out on his own as they do in the wild? How can you differentiate between the larger elephants? I know Fishan because of his broken ankle and of course the smaller baby elephants. How did you start HERD and where did the core group come from? Will the females ever have babies? I watched all day yesterday all the Fenya videos I could find, I somehow knew that whilst Khanyisa was integrated into the group, you may have another baby in the nursery, but what a sad ending for her. Thank you so much for watching! And caring! It’s about 16 degrees Celsius overnight. Fishan, as a bull who has had an injury and isn’t as strong as he used to be, but also because of his individual personality, he doesn’t wander off on his own. He likes to be with his herd - especially the youngest elephants and Tokwe and Bubi. We use different identifying features to spot the different elephants, such as the ear shape and pattern along the edges, as they tear and gets holes, tusk size and shape, body size and shape, tail hair pattern… the core group came from Zimbabwe - rescued in 2002 after being at risk of being killed in their home country on the farm they lived on during the violent land reforms. They were originally orphaned as a result of culling mostly. The females may have babies when and if released into a different area but for now in our reserve they are on contraception since they are in our human care, and cannot legally breed.

Khanyisa is still a baby girl she has long journey all day long with adults !!! and when I watch her It's seems she feels alone !! and boring at the homesteads she miss you and keepers !! sure !!! it's hard to watch baby sunshine sleepling on the concrete !! poor baby !!!! that brokes my heart !!!😢she is so alone to be a baby 💓🐘💓I admire her so much happy that Yimisa et-and Khanyisa sleeps together !!
