An Endgame Guide to TERA - 2019

Good video. Let me add a bit to it :) 1. Glyphs, they're essential and greatly affect playstyle. Learn/replace them whenever you get new one from glyph token shop or glyph box. Game won't let you do "downgrade" them. You need them all. Use glyph presets to quickly switch them between PVE/PVP/Solo setups. 2. Choose your jewelry set correctly (power, crit or mixed), it will greatly affect your damage dealt. 3. Choose your weapon and armor crystals correctly, they greatly affect your damage dealt (unless you're a healer). Complete crystalbind (about 70g or less on broker) unlike regular Crystalbind will keep them safe for 12 hours of playtime. 4. Find a guild. There are many casual guilds that are very friendly to beginners, they will answer your questions and help you progress thru the game. Use "Guilds on Servers" menu or global chat to find one. 5. Stop relying on spacebar popups to chain skills and do them manually by pressing according skill key, learn skill rotations (priorities or order) optimal for your class. This will refine your keybindings and mechanical memory. Consult your class discord about them. You can also track your progress with meter. 6. If you're about to go to an unknown dungeon for the first time (435 item lvl or above) you should either do a small research for guide or ask party members to explain key mechanics, this will greatly increase your contribution to dungeon clearing. (If you're a damage dealer class you have to be always behind the boss, just sayin') 7. Always use combat consumables in dungeons (Prime Battle Solution, Bravery Potion) they're essential and cheap if you buy them from broker. Consult your class discord for any questions you get. There is an alternative monster farming spot in Spring Valley slightly to north-east of Amadjuak Trading Post. You can level some classes 60-65 in about a hour and a half (after you get Initiative gear set from lv60 story quest). As a fresh 65 you may encounter issues with gold. You can earn it via: 1. Guardian legion mission reward boxes 2. Gathering and selling materials on broker (ore, ingots, essences, silex) 3. Running dungeons and completing Vanguard requests will give some extra gold 4. Fishing (can get 2-3k extra gold per day) 5. Battlegrounds (one win per day for the vanguard completion, ~2k gold + bonus)

Quite good tips, thanks bro. I have found that in Tera one of the best methods to earn money for the beginning is simply gathering of materials with the highest demand on market like Azure Essences. Also by buying flying mount from Enmasse store it gives more flexibility in reaching those together with time saving approach.

You know what I like about this? I've been to the end-game of other RPG and MMO games and most of them require you to grind. However, your grinding work can be completely wasted if you do something stupid or the RNG doesn't go your way. But what I like about this is that your efforts don't go to waste.

Well I miss playing this game. Its just playing everytime this game makes me empty since I've already played this game for a long time. The only reason I can get back to this game is if I have already brought my own pc *working on it* or if I have a friend who will play with me. I have a lot of online friends but I want personal friends more when I play it since we can talk about it whenever we hang together etc etc. been playing since there was 5 channels until it all got merged to one. As of now I am playing black desert to avail the free game pass.

you know that you can still run kelisak's nest after level 64 and a more efficient route is the alternate between it and ebon tower but then again i had a bit of help doing this from one of my guild mates. also in order to still run dungeons you have to use their entrance teleportals.

@@JoshStrifeHayes I have to say that Your guide for beginner in TERA has allowed me to relax and just dive into the game. I agree with Your view that the current games are losing their uniqueness. I remember the times when I started playing Lineage 3. When I was invited to a clan and spent almost 4 years. I sometimes lack presence in the group and waiting for the boss to wake up. The simple conversations and jokes after a hard day of work it was a really good way to recover. In those days the graphics of the game were not very important, but the game itself. The weight of the statues or items It was also not important, but your contribution. Glad to remember when healer at low level takes the role of a tank or when my friend writes that "I already thought I would die with 1 hp" and you back to him "I just check maybe you sleep" :). Maybe I'll be find a similar guild and continue to have fun :). I want to wish for You have fun playing games or just doing something :).

Tera, EnMasse migrate to Gameforge now, to join North America Tera Nov 12th. For now, you can find the Krafton minimal game Launcher to launch the old servers.. and get the migration done via website read... get gameforge launcher in the migration process.. wait for the 12th.. after december, people join gameforge start new.

On the Ps4 in 2019, Marmundam, no longer gives players a free flying mount. Only guardian gear.

pretty much yes, the grinding to get gear has shifted to grinding for mats to upgrade your Guardian gear all the way up to highest tier which is Heroic Oath atm. Reaching level 70 is a grind fest and better gear tier helps a lot.

Plus I dont know if you can help me with 1 of quests that got stuck and they dont even progress nor i can delete it. The quest has something to do with some type of cards you collect, and stack them up for particular pve monsters to gain higher percentage of def, attack etc. Can you give me a tip on how to at least skip the 20lvl part?

seems like vanguard initiative quest line is broken after the update. but don't worry, the best way to level up is to do Ebon tower dungeon all by yourself (not a solo version, just regular instance without a group, just enter through the teleport). It will make you 65 after about 2 runs, depending on you xp buffs. Then you will get the gear quest that this video was talking about.

this item-progress system was SUPERB! i started playing tera again on that attack on titan event and kept playing since. so almost 3 years (i quit end of 2020) that system was really cool. you knew every dungeon you did was bringing progress to your equipment since you could break down ingredients and buy higher tier one from them or vice versa. also the XP the gear was gathering helped enchanting it. it was a really nice system! sadly they removed it and replaced it with a "can drop in level when failing to upgrade" korean bullshit system

probably late but actual pvp contents get unlocked at level 65 due to huge gap in skills/glyphs/EP u can use between pre 65 and post 65
