An English Lesson: What to do and say when you are sick.

In this English lesson I will help you learn some English words and phrases to use when you are sick. I will talk about calling in sick and asking for a sick day, and I will help you learn the English words and phrases to talk about four places you might go if you are sick either to simply get some painkillers, or to see a doctor.
After all, we all get sick, and sometimes it is hard to know how to talk about being sick in English. In this English video lesson I'll go over some of the basic English phrases that you'll need to know to be able to talk about being sick.

The fact that you can Immediately go to the Walk-in Clinic even on the weekend when you are sick is very impressive. There is not the place like that in Korea. Thank you a lot for teaching me.

Yes it is very convenient, but we don't often do it because it is so busy at a walk-in clinic. It is much nicer to wait it out and see a family doctor if possible. 🏥🚑🌞

Hi Bob, nice to hear you you are recovery to be normal already. In my country we have three way when we are sick, at the first go to drug store or pharmacy; the second we go to hospital or clinic and we don’t need to book appointment and the last one we go to emergency room at hospital by ourselves ( our family send us to there or our family call ambulance ). Anyway in my country don’t have only one number call to emergency like your country, we have to contact hospital by ourselves. Incase accidents we can call 191 ( one number, or volunteer organization whom help to take care and send us to hospital ). I am very happy to watch your video and learn English with your channel. This is the video I have been looking for. You, as a native, show the daily practical conversation in elegant way.
