I came to the Church after encountering demonic presences in my mother-in-law’s home (deep dark man-shaped shadowy beings, disembodied voices, doors that opened and closed themselves, heavy footsteps with nothing there, unseen hands trying to push people down the stairs, and a vivid very lucid dream of demons trying to talk to me). Shortly after reading a book about exorcism by Fr. Malachi Martin and learning that Catholic exorcists have the authority to remove demons, I converted. This was despite having been previously very critical of the Church. My experiences in that house convinced very rapidly convinced me that the Church was right and that I belonged there.

I have certain family members I'm convinced are possessed. I witnessed it when my mom was dying. The evil emanating from my brother especially, as well as my dad during her last moments was undeniable. My brother was hovering over her while he was talking on the phone with the speaker on as loud as possible laughing and carrying on. I prayed to get him away. At that moment, he walked away without a word and left the room. I then was by my mother's side, I would not leave. At her last breath, he tried to turn up the television in her room as loud as possible, and I would not allow it. When she took her last breath, I saw the halo, the absolute knowing that she was protected. As soon as her spirit was gone, he glared at me from across her body. And then he laughed uncontrollably as he put his arm around my dad and said, now let's talk about your money. At the funeral, he was seen doing deals in the church, he and my dad exchanging thousands of dollars. He tried to ruin my mother's funeral and I wouldn't let him. I have refused to have anything to do with him since, and I have found out about some other horrible things he did right before she died. He has left me evil voicemail messages from different phone numbers, and I keep blocking him. My dad also has demons in him and I've had to walk away from the entire family because of it.

A recent statue of Mary was dropped off at a Catholic Church in MI. It sat in the gathering area for a few months; last Sunday a child knocked it over and it broke. Inside was a demon statue and on her head was a crown of 6 stars instead of 7. The priest immediately notified his Bishop then an exorcist who told him to bring in all those who touched the statue. He then did prayers of exorcism given him by the exorcist over all his people.

@beachclub11 no one knows because the church receives donations frequently and the statue had been dropped off about 4 months before the child knocked it over. The priest was interviewed on Ave Maria Radio following the incident. Apparently, this is a frequent thing because the exorcist knew about the demon and only 6 stars on her head before the priest could finish telling him.

That part where Fr. Lampert was talking about the person who had schizophrenia and how he was disappointed when he found out he wasn't actually possessed really saddened me because I know that there really are people who are mentally ill who feel the same way as this man did. My kid sister's best friend has dissociative identity disorder, a mental illness that is often mistaken for possession before a proper diagnosis can be made, and her friend says that there are countless members of the DID community who say "it would be easier to be possessed than to live with this disease." Because demonic possession can be cured if the individual consents to an exorcism, but DID can't be cured no matter how much you wanna get rid of it 😔 As always, fantastic interview, Fr. Lampert! I'm from the diocese of Lafayette-in-Indiana, so very close by, and I always love watching these interviews and hearing your insights. Thank you for ministering publicly about exorcism and the demonic. People need to know that this stuff is real.

I'm Lutheran, and I really appreciate the father's comments here. I look forward to the day when we are all united again on earth as we are in Christ, because our enemy isn't losing graciously. I had Christmas dinner with my pastor, and he told some stories about some of his encounters with the demonic. In one instance, a family was encountering a demonic entity that contained their house and especially a particular room. The demon also caused them unexplained cuts and scratches. My pastor met with them, learned that they weren't baptized, and then arranged the baptism of the entire family. After that, he worked with them to choose a time to cleanse the house. He said the cleansing was fairly uneventful, though when he cleansed the particular room, the family's dogs downstairs got very agitated and began barking and growling loudly. When he was finished, the dogs seemed timid like they had seen something scary. The family has been regularly attending services since and has had no further encounters. Certainly not as extreme as a levitation or green eyes with slanted pupils, but a very real experience with spiritual evil. I used to be more skeptical about these experiences, but over the past ten years or so the reality of demonic evil has become clear to me given what I've read and heard. Makes me thankful for a relationship with Christ and my brothers and sisters in Him, and hope for all of these lost souls to find Christ again. Excellent episode!

I have gone to a Chiropractor for over 20 years who does muscle testing. We have had many interesting conversations over the years needless to say. When the topic of him healing so many people came up he stepped away from the table and said that HE does Not Heal the patients he is merely the conduit for the healing He KNEW from where the healing came. Even my cat went to a naturalpathic vet who did muscle testing. Great information, thank you!When I was a young Protestant evangelical Bible College student in the 70’s, I witnessed an unplanned exorcism of a girl who was in my dormitory (it happened in a prayer meeting). It was mind-blowing. All of the characteristics that Father mentioned were present. Her voice totally changed and she started snarling and screaming. The Irony of my story is my fav verse I picked during koinonia was to take on the full armor of God. And on top of that. Just before this all happened, I kept telling myself “dude what are the fruits of her spirit!? She has no good no peace no patience… The devil just about took my life as I’ve been under spiritual warfare and the devil has tried to take everything from me. Mostly my own lust to blame. I was doing great for myself. Finally moved from my hometown 2000 miles away to Arizona. Was exploring and enjoying myself, playing guitar bettering myself as a singer songwriter. Then within 6 months everything crashed. I was coaching wrestling and i fractured my hand, making me give up my guitar and within a few weeks from that, I met this girl who was an absolute demonic force in my life. There were so many signs. My friend at the time said she had a dark or spooky presence to her. She always wore black. Unfortunately i was so foolish to let my lust rule my heart as she strung me along and used me, well, it ended up that this girl went as far as making a false police report on me claiming insidious falsehoods to get herself out of whatever situation I was unaware of. Shortly after that episode, I was so traumatized I lost 15 lbs (I’m 130ish total) and lost my job. Then I was so upset and terrified and cursing God for allowing all this to happen, I ended up giving myself a chemical burn on my face. I feel like I’ve been under demonic possession since then as strangely everytime something happened there was a part of me that was happy and it oddly enough came from my root chakra or crotch area as if that’s where it’s embedded. Strange how my life has been one big influence from the enemy. But to wrap that story up, the strangest thing occurred which makes me think it was demonic. The moment I orgasmed into this woman. I heard the loudest thud of my life. She laughed. I got a scared or fearful feeling. I didn’t think anything of it. And didn’t realize a few days later that in that moment my picture of Jesus fell off my wall. No clue how. But it’s the pic from my aunt and grandma I just remembered. They were trying to warn me. I attracted another girl in high school that made me give up my dreams of wrestling because of the lust of the flesh. My hand still bothers me from breaking jt and I’ve considered suicide everyday as I want to just give it up. Prior to this all happening I’ve always been known for me being so kind and compassionate. As God came into my life when I was about 18 or so and radically transformed my heart. I can say with absolute certainty that the daemonic is real, and they do pray upon Christians. Even the people who fired me from my job and wrote a slanderous reprimand against me, we’re not Christians if anything they were against God, very liberal leaning and one was even Jewish. I was so foolish to think they were my friends. People and evil spirits are easily attracted to the light, because they envy it, just like Satan envy God, it is hard to see because they are charmers and deceivers, I don’t know if it’s the spirit of Jezebel or Lilith, but they are always very beautiful too, they can put on a face of being kind and compassionate and loving, he will do good deeds, they will convince you that they are a good person, but their hearts are far from God. It is not easy to spot unless you are seriously discerning the flesh and the lust of the eyes, and you are walking in the spirit and not the ego.
