Everything you’ve described with nursing I’ve experienced as well. I JUST weaned our daughter after 3.5 wonderful years of nursing her. It’s been a challenge as I didn’t have my period the first year, and after that while rewarding, it’s been very hard on my body and mind. It put me in “menopause” due to low estrogen caused by nursing. My little one was so attached to the boob I seriously felt like my boobs were out most of the day. I hated it at one point 😂 I am however extremely grateful I was able to nurse as long as I did, and I am also very happy I’ve finally weaned 😂

I breast fed my son for a year. I had a hard time getting him to take a bottle so for my 2nd child I started a bottle a day so my husband could feed her. I can relate so much to what u have said about children. You have to decide what's best for u and your husband. Enjoy every special moment with Sadie. You grow and learn so much from your children. I have 3 grown kids of my own. Thank u so much for sharing your thoughts with us. Wishing u nothing but peace and happiness!💜

Thank you so much for sharing all this! I recently discovered your channel and have found your videos so inspiring :) And as for One and Done, we are One and Done (though not by choice) and while it is not what we had envisioned for our life, I can say it is wonderful. Our son is almost six-years-old and we are all so close. It’s a calm life at home but gives us so many opportunities for fun adventures! Everyone has to do what’s right for them ❤

This was a great Q and A Meghan. Thanks. I usually feel more relaxed after watching your video, but with this one I guess you going through the Qs and wanting to keep up with the receive, it was a bit stressful 😄 but all good! I enjoyed it

Hey Meghan! This video was really amazing thank you so much for sharing and being so honest and open about motherhood. I can relate to a bunch of things you brought up ❤ I feel like this past year I’ve gone through a lot of self reflection and identity crisis as well, even like existential crisis and mid life crisis. It’s comforting to know that therapy helps! Maybe we could catch up soon 😊

I have 2 beautiful girls 13 months apart, and they are so close. It is true what they say about the 2nd child being hyper & distracted. I think my oldest had her patience wore thin. I love the chaos of kids though so I wish I would have had more❤

I felt the same way with my periods after having kids! I had terrible periods and I feel my kids fixed my cycle and periods or maybe just birthing made them so less painful. I used to throw up because the nausea was so bad as a teen from them. Those cookies look amazing, but my son with nut allergies would have major issues with it. I'd love to eat them. I am sorry to hear about your anxiety issues. I hope you are able to navigate through it better. Oh man, I always was constantly asked the "Are you going to have more kids" question too, especially after I had my second one since I had two boys and people would ask if I was going to try for a girl. It was really hard to get asked that for years and years. . .and they are teens now and I just had another baby, so age gap. . .but now I am already getting asked if I'll have another (he will be 4 months old tomorrow). I don't mind being asked anymore since I'll be 40 in early Nov and will be married twenty years next summer, so my clock is ticking and people are curious and I just tell them, "Yes, we plan for one more and then we'll be done." They all have kind intent in their questions. I never ask people such questions though. The experience of our two entertaining one another and being best friends (they are already talking about sharing their first apartment together) is really beautiful so that is why I am going to try to have another so this little guy doesn't feel alone and can have that opportunity of being close to another sibling too. It is actually easier on me so I don't have to constantly entertain one too. Don't feel ashamed for only wanting one. There is nothing wrong with that. After my first, I was ready to not have anymore but I got pregnant again (they are 22 months apart). What did you enjoy most about England? I've never been out of the US. Trust me, you'll have loads of time with your husband again once your daughter is older. It is hard when they are young. We didn't go for dates barely at all until my oldest was maybe 6, or we'd take our boys on dates with us which actually has always been really fun for us!! Thanks for answering questions and baking!
