The long awaited sequel to the beloved Heist FPS, Payday 2, is finally here after almost a decade of waiting. Today we take a look at my honest thoughts, and see if Payday 3 was worth the wait

Stealth here is less attractive because there is no bonus and the achievement for xp requires you to shoot X weapons and achieve kills. Way to kneecap your own game mechanics.

Ok hold on, about the heists. Payday 2 had very repetitive heists in its launch, 4 of them being bank heists and 2 of them being jewelry store and Ukrainian job. Also we got the legacy heists lol

Glad to see it’s improved quite a bit since launch, still obviously needs work but I’m very much enjoying it in its current state. I like the more grounded take compared to 2 and hope they don’t go to wild with it if they can avoid it!

I dont know if you heard about it but an update comes to payday 3 with 2 legacy heists cook off and murky station the progression system will be fixed and a new skill tree coming with 2 bag transportation i think the game goes for a little bit of serious tone and payday the heist type of gameplay and everything from payday the heist rather than payday 2 for example challenges,8 heists originally like in payday the heist. 10 with legacy heists harder difficulty etc. I know its less content than in payday 2 but when it will have more content it will be like payday 2 i hope,i love this game too and all of payday. For me its enough content that payday 3 has right now but that its just my opinion.

I agree, Gamplay > Realism, realism is only a supporting ingredient to the gameplay.

As someone who really likes and enjoys playing payday 3.... Yeah, you've made a lot of fair points. I do disagree regarding stealth, with how the Overkill (and even Very Hard) difficulty currently is I personally find most of the levels easier to complete stealth than loud. Memorizing guard patterns, objectives, and just getting used to the feel of stealth, how to best move around and the tools at your disposal, lets me consistently complete stealths on overkill whilst I heavily struggle on overkill loud, the police forces are just too many and too brutal for me. For this reason I prefer having no bonuses for stealth, in my eyes it leaves both modes on equal footing as I inevitably know someone out there is good at Overkill loud but not stealth, regardless of how little sense that makes for me. Okay that was more words than expected, uhhh, I've been watching your videos for a bit and I enjoy them quite a lot! Hope to see you around in the future and you have my condolonces on bronchitis.

It is because payday 2 has a lot of more content and quality it will happen with every single game in the industry i can say will even happen with gta 6 online Every single dev studio is just dumb to make games as services and then trying to make sequels to follow that trend xddd

I definitely think Payday 3 is a huge disappointment in all the areas you covered and more, however, I think the stealth is much better, easier and faster than loud in most missions(out of all 8 of them...) However it *IS* almost completely pointless with the horrible progression system that requires specific achievements to progress 90% of which are "Kill X amount of people with gun X on mission X in difficulty X" What's the point of stealth?! I love the stealth but you can't level with it at all, the best you get is cash, which isn't that useful with no Hideout to horde your loot in a progressively visibly larger stack in a vault and barely any guns to spend your cash on.
