I fn love Eddie. Favorite band of all time and I listen to a ton of music. Just so darn hard to get tickets for their shows. I wonder if he talks more during the concerts to give his voice a break as he is getting older.

Joe i had the same weekend as you, both PJ shows and the dead on friday. I always wait to buy tickets, rarely do i get on the original sale. Thursday i grabbed two on TM in sec 27 for $199 ea and they give you the all in price, no guessing the fees bs. Last night i grabbed sec 8 a single for the same 199. Couldnt have been happier. PJ is the best live band out there right now imo. Definitely planning a road trip for more shows, maybe Seattle. you should too! keep up the good work!

Thanks I appreciate it. Funny you were in the same section. The girl I was with was wearing a Grateful Dead shirt and there was a guy in our section who asked us if we went to the dead last night and then told us he also went to both Pearl Jam shows. So either that was you or a lot of people did the same thing as we did LOL not a bad way to spend in a few days:-)

Hearing your review felt like you were reading my mind! My favorite band is Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. I love Pearl Jam too. I was hoping for Release and Sirens as well. Ed has a heart of gold and it was such a heartwarming moment when he was wishing people Happy Birthday. I am friends with Tom Petty’s wife Dana and the 18th was actually her birthday. When he played I Won’t Back Down I couldn’t believe it. It was a beautiful way to keep his connection alive with Tommy. And then a few days ago at the second LA show the piano player from Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and his wife were in attendance and Ed dedicated the song wreckage to them. I’m also friends with Benmont so it was just really amazing to see.

Wow. Amazing. Still breaks my heart I never got to see Tom live . Singing Eddie playing that song really was perfect for me. Seriously I think release is their most underrated song I really wish you would have played it what can you do. Always leaving them wanting more right? LOL glad you enjoyed it as much as I did thanks so much for listening I hope you consider subscribing. I might have to be one of those people that travel around and see 77 Pearl Jam shows until I hear release and Sirens LOL

Right?! I wish I had the money to spend on tickets and traveling from show to show. That would be a dream come true. I was actually able to see Tom live on May 29th. in 2017. At Red Rocks Amphitheater.

Yep on the tickets I actually sat in section 8 like you did because the prices dropped and the seats were better I thought it would be easy to re sell mine - nope I got stuck with them On the plus side I learned from this and waited to buy LA tickets until couple days ago And yep same thing happened - they released some amazing seats for 1/3 of the original price

I saw Pearl Jam on the opening night of their Lightening Bolt tour, in Pittsburgh, PA, in 2013. I just pulled up my e-receipt, and, after fees, my ticket came out at $82.40. I distinctly remember that every single ticket in the house went for the same price, whether the pit up front or the furthest away nosebleed. Every single ticket came out at $82.40.

Sadly that's not the case anymore

@@JoeInVegasReviews it’s unfortunate. I legit wonder who got PJ’s ear, encouraging them to stop this, as this had apparently been a common thing for them, seemingly in reply to the Ticketmaster issues that they’d had in the past.

Wish they had swapped out a couple older songs that were played twice, but they are great.

Good review. Yes the band is completely misguided about tickets and politics. They need to shut up and let the free market dictate the ticket prices and quit being greedy and controlling.

Here is my review. My first show was when I was in high school in ‘95 and they played 28 songs and Eddie said maybe ten words. If he had cut off his rants, they could have played more songs. I miss when they just played. I also miss when they cared about ticket prices and fought to keep them low. I don’t feel like I should be paying hundreds of dollars for thirty years of being a fan to get better seats when they decide to go on tour. Sad. Otherwise, I loved the set list. I couldn’t believe they played Out of my mind. That was sweet. Stop talking and just play. That’s my only complaint. Otherwise it was amazing. Oh and the opening band was amazing. I loved every song they played.

Vegas Night 2 was not good at all. I was there for N2 only and feel like I missed the best of both concerts.

Man you should really know what you are talking about before making an uneducated rant about tickets. Especially saying that Pearl Jam is doing a disservice to their fans. Did you know about 70% of those seats were purchased through the fan club lottery? So contrary to you, the die hard fans get first dibs on tickets and the standard flat price.

Can I ask what you paid? I'm willing to bet you paid a lot more than most people because you were first in

@@AudioAllegrobased off the price I'm guessing that's for an upper section? Plus you had no ability to transfer those tickets at all. Even if you were taking a friend you have to meet them down there and walk in with them. If your friend was late it becomes a mess of a situation where you have to miss the show to go meet them in the front by the entry. Just so you know my friend purchased 2 tix the night before the show he paid $350.95 All In with all the StubHub fees. He was in the premium lodge section which was section 108. They are couches with waitresses VIP entry. It's the closest thing to MGM Arena has to a suite. They are called premium view seating. They were also for some reason distributed by axs and not Ticketmaster so he had the ability to transfer the tickets if he wanted the night before the show. Happy to email u the screen shot of his reciept. I was looking at ticket prices to see where they are at the night before. I saw a bunch of tickets in Section 8. I saw some in row a which is a crazy seat. And they were going for $200 plus fees. The fan to Fan resale makes you believe that you are getting the best price and the price will remain the same in the secondary Market. Just look at StubHub and you'll see that is not the case . A lot of people played close to 900 in the Pearl Jam Lottery for lower level or floor seats . They were going for $200 on StubHub. You can protect the band all you want these are realities. Read the other comment on here. That guy got stuck with two tickets. A lot of people got stuck with tickets because they couldn't even dumped them on their friends and family because they couldn't transfer them

@@JoeInVegasReviewssection 13 night one, section 17 night two excellent seats but that doesn’t matter. All of the Ten Club tickets were the same price from the GA Pit to the upper level. Join the Ten Club, that’s where PJ fans get their tickets.

I still didn't get why you can't sell the ticket for less? What's the point? Usually you can't overprize them, what makes sense to me.
@JoeInVegasReviews4 ай бұрын
I agree. They don't let you sell them for Less because they can lower prices on Ticketmaster and sell more tickets
@AudioAllegro4 ай бұрын
Pearl Jam doesn’t want you to compete with them. They want to sell new tickets, they don’t want you to price lower than them to sell a complete wash in money. Don’t buy tickets you don’t intend to use. Especially premium priced tickets.
@Sloppylicious4 ай бұрын
@@JoeInVegasReviewsI see. But is that an issue anyway? Do they have problems selling their tickets? I still think it's weird. To me it seems like as if they prefer to play half empty shows rather than missing out just one sale. I've never experienced price changes here. But I know they're talking about now to align them according to demand. It's somehow a pain I guess but I would understand. I'm not affected as I just don't like that huge venues. And I really hate that sales these days start like 12 - 18 months before the actual event. That's crazy.
