On the comment about the chances of a woman staying unmarried after 30 because she is too aware is an excuse used for guys who are not willing to do the work themselves. It's the same reasoning parents would use to discourage their daughters from getting a Masters or owning houses by themselves. In a Dear Future Wifey episode with Sarah Jakes Roberts, she was saying how it is much harder to be in a relationship with a real one than with a fraud. Because with a real one, they welcome your vulnerability and keep you accountable so you become the best version of yourself. With a fraud you are so busy worried if they are cheating, checking phones, arguing so you don't even have time for vulnerability and building each other up. I would say as long as you are not using your awareness and growth to belittle others, I don't see why it should be a big issue, in fact it is very attractive.

One topic that I'd like to highly suggest is with regards to careers- i believe yall are smart women who have gotten the privilege to venture into various career fields. So if you guys can do an episode where you can just delve into talking about careers like marketing, communication, media and just corporate life in general, agency life etc even just based off of your experiences, i feel like that would be great and insightful especially to cater to the young TA. What are some of the dos and don'ts? What were your lessons? What would your advice be to anyone who would want to venture into them? What should their expectations be even just in terms of salaries from entry level to a senior position et al. (U can even invite someone like Zach so he can share his experiences as well and other visitors).

On the paybill issue, everything u've said is exactly my thoughts. We see u girls as auntie madooh so kinda would be weird. However, it's not a subscription,it's optional so n out of the goodness of someone's heart. Myself, nilichanga in 2018 when I was a student,I literally used my pocket money (500) to send an influencer who had a health issue n was in hospital n unable to pay. After 3 weeks (I'm not exaggerating) she was in diani for a whole 1 week. I didn't bad I helped her,I just vowed strangers on the internet don't deserve my savings or pocket money. I will however support TMI by subscribing, watching the whole episode, coming to live events, buying merchandise but that's it babes

I see the paybill thing as a form of tipping culture. It's a form of appreciation. However, have I ever tipped? No. Because I grew up paying for just my bills and that's truly all I know. How about you guys consider Patreon? Though it's killing me to suggest this cause I know I wouldn't and haven't ever paid for "premium" content 😂😂😂 Cause how many channels do I follow? What if I have to pay for all of them..?Trust I'm choosing "free" content 🤭

Unpopular opinion!!😂😂 I'm not for the paybill idea, for me it's like buying a 10bob face mask and washing it to wear it the next day,instead of going to a wholesale shop and get 50 pieces at 300. Some will think it's saving for me it's the 'tabia za umaskini' attracting more poverty! Better and more sponsorships and partnerships/deals is the way for TMI😊

Personally, while yes, balance is important, I think we're JUST entering the era of women being single and happy (esp considering the shit they get when single female content creators post about their self care and men are under there insisting they MUST be miserable). Also some of us are introverts lol

kenya is not a christian state. kenya is a secular state. the kenyan constitution, chapter 1, section 8 states "there shall be no state religion". and yes, the preamble begins by acknowledging the almighty god of all creation - though they're not specific about which denomination's god... most probably an abrahamic religion though.

My opinion on 'self funded' birthday parties. Atleast as the host cater for maybe 2 drinks or something for your guests but asking people to come for your party and they pay for everything and still bring a gift... To me thats using your friends.the only thing you've catered for its the cake
@yarnbraids3334 ай бұрын

I would like to chime in on two things: On the idea, of contributions and parties. There needs to be conmmunication. Dont be like surprise, everyone is to pay for their own food or contribute 3000 for the event. Communicate beforehand before the event to avoid musunderstandings. Also be realistic in your expectations to avoid tensions and arguments as well as understand when people say no or they cant afford the 3000 for the invite. Two on Cancel culture in relation to say the genocide Israel is commiting against the Palestinians, cancelling companies makes sense because money is one of the things that has kept the Israeli occupation going for decades since the Nakba ( forceful expulsion of Palestinians and destruction of their cities and villages). Strangling the flow of money ans starving the flow of money into their Economy is one way to bring Israel to their knees, the same way the apartheid South African regime was brought to its knees. They were ostracized and their economy went down. What someone shouldnt do is cancel friends/ family for not agreeing with cancel culture ( unless they actively support the genocide because Israel is "chosen" and was "promised that land" then avoiding discussing that topic with them is fine)

Im I’m coming to your party I’m not expecting to pay for my food and drinks. It’s really weird. But if it’s just a day out to dine or catch up I’d definitely do. I usually say no for invitations that will force me to pay. Like here in EU 50€ can be your weekly amount for groceries so I’m definitely not going to pay that for just one day for an event which is not mine.

Maybe creators who have a paybill should talk about whether they get the 'support' from their fans. Personally I'll always support but sending to a paybill, you'd have to be specific e.g contribute we need new microphones to give you better audio content and we can't afford to buy some. LOL

My favs🥹❤️ On the point of the paybill issue. It is possible that you guys may have been projecting your perception. If the creator has put it in the bio and left it to the audience to send money if they feel like it, it is okay. It’s the same thing as if you want to give to a cause or give to someone who helped you or give to someone you honor, it is out of your own good will. It is not by force. So if a creator puts a link for any monetary appreciation, it is okay. If you are “I could never give creators my money”, it’s okay for you to scroll past it. If you feel moved to support, at least you have an avenue to do so. I don’t know if it makes sense but in summary, it’s okay. It doesn’t show “broke” or “beggar” ESPECIALLY if the content they are putting out is beneficial to helping better people’s experiences in life beyond just being entertained. Otherwise thanksssss for another great episodeeeee🤩🤩💃🏾💃🏾
