What Jeremy touched on here is something so important and perhaps been missing from the church for a long time. Worship is multifaceted. Not only is it about praising and yielding, but also very much about exhortation and declaration. When a believer declares the wonderful attributes and conquests of our Glorious Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, lifts him up above all else stepping out of the scripted program, but done in unisen with the what is taking place.The Holy Spirit moves mightily! Chains are broken, Strong holds are smashed. Mighty conquests are performed in the Spirit! It's an amazing thing! It is a very powerful form of spiritual warfare, and we need to see much more of it in the churches! There are men and women in The body of Christ that have been equipped, and are called to war. It's time to embrace our inheritance stand up and fight the good fight! Amen!

I just cringe when people criticize this and demean it, it makes me angry, they are such great worshippers, they word it so well. Been going to Bethel Church fir a few years and what these people say is true. The problem is other churches dont understand it and call them heretics, this makes me sad. You're wondering about 1 Corinthians 11 my friend. Records of Paul's teaching on the subject are found in ch 11. This along with so much of scripture is debated from person to person, denomination to denomination. I haven't ever heard a sermon on the topic in my church upbringing, but I know most churches these days make no issue of the topic. Now women in certain types of Apostolic churches were likely raised on the doctrine to never cut their hair based on this scripture.

Don't be so quick to judge, as it will prevent you from being able to receive from people who have wonderful things to offer (as both of these do).
